Had the BBQ and picnicked by the pond. Very nice spot. The Texas brisket sandwich from the BBQ was delicious and filling! No room left to try the delicious looking pies, side salads, or fruits! Can't wait to try the restaurant next time.

This restaurant is upscale, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. We had all you can eat beef ribs for $10.99. I'm not a big eater so the ribs brought were more than enough. I don't know about their other services, but you can get information online about the Fruit Yard. They have a fruit market and a... More

The Fruit Yard 7948 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto, CA On State Highway 45, about 10 miles east of Modesto proper, near Empire. A world class Buffet awaits Sunday Patrons, away back behind the Bar Lounge, in a large dining room. Food is well above average, the dessert selection is probably illegal, it is so rich. Estimated length above 25 feet. This... More

Stopped on the way to Sonora. Had to try the ribs at the deli. Nice ribs and worth a stop. Had a bit of a problem understanding the ordering/paying process but it worked out. Could have used a fly swatter. May have to try the restaurant the next time.

We held a surprise b-day party for my mom and it could not have been any better. The food was excellent and the waitresses, Julie & Elaina worked very well together and made our celebration a great success. They were very sweet and professional to all of our guests. My mom and our family were very happy with how it... More

This rambling, charming place is so friendly that you cannot figure out why you don't come more often. It is out in the country and has a great farm market next door that has a great selection of foods and gifts. Breakfast is fantastic!

I visited the fruit yard yesterday for dinner. I ordered the Philly prime rib sandwich but was disappointed unfortunately. I have gone a few times to the market and gotten some pretty good sandwiches there so I figured the restaurants food would be just as good. The prime rib had no flavor. I'm glad their was onion and peppers or... More

Talk about one rotten apple spoiling the entire barrel. My husband and I recently moved out to the Modesto area. I was looking for a restaurant / bar where we could have dinner and then have cocktails (that had class). The food is delicious; love the salad bar. We've been there approximately 20 to 30 times in the last 6... More

We totally love their bar-b-qued beef ribs. Huge portions and the salad bar is too fresh to be believed. Rarely a wait, but reservations are a good idea. The other entries are really good too!

I liked it. Food and service were above average. Went there a couple of times on this trip to the area. I am a sucker for Reuben sandwiches and theirs earned my high approval. Location was convenient for me.
