The whole experience was amazing. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the nicest woman. There are tons of pictures all over the walls of the wilderness that definitely add to the scenery. I ordered french toast and fresh orange juice. Absolutely amazing. The woman serving me was so friendly to everyone that came in. You can tell there are... More

This is a funky but clean restaurant where very few restaurants exist. DH had the Huevos Rancheros and pronounced the dish pretty good. I had the mushroom omelet which was pretty bad--not really an omelet and the mushrooms were canned. Our waitress was not at all friendly, but otherwise efficient.

We have experienced breakfast and lunch at the Miranda Cafe on several occasions. The menu is simple offering a standard variety of hot meals. The food is freshly prepared and the service is friendly. We would recommend stopping in if you travel north on the Avenue of the Giant Redwoods anytime soon.

This cafe is in a small town near the Avenue of the Giants so handy for visiting the Humboldt visitor Centre and trails for the redwoods. We visited This cafe at lunch and it was s good we went back for dinner in the evening. Great staff both times, friendly, good service and really tasty food. Good size portions ,... More

We were visiting the redwoods and came across the Avenue more or less by accident. The place was rather full of kids from the school next door but they were all well behaved and their lunch hour was over pretty soon. The staff were helpful, sorting us a table for 6 and we had a number of different dishes. They... More

The food here is okay - nothing special and the only game in town, so there are not a lot of options. I had the lasagna and it was good and a very large portion. My two sisters got the chicken parm and were not that impressed - the chicken was a bit hard and the sauce kind of bland... More

The food was phenomenal, they had a patio and are dog friendly! I highly recommend the french dip - but others that we know tried the pizza and said it was wonderful. There are so many pricey, cheesy tourist trap restaurants in the area - but this one was a chill place to relax and eat and watch the world go... More

Ate here two nights in a row in August 2015. The place is very small-but it's in a tiny town. The staff was very friendly. This first night we had Spinach Manicotti and the Stromboli Calzone. The Spinach Manicotti was very good and came with soup or salad. The Calzone was pretty good, not awesome. The second night we had... More
