Laid back atmosphere. Very good, home cooked type food. Go often. Two TV's available if you are interested in what is on at the time you are there. Bar available. Excellent margaritas.

We stayed at the nearby Fivespot cabin and walked to Pinehurst for dinner and a beer. The burgers were big, perfectly cooked, and served with fresh veggies. The fries were very good and the beer cold. Service was friendly and the locals were talkative and cheery. There was a fire in the large fireplace and baseball on the big screen.... More

Friendly people, excellent food, from steaks to chicken to pasta. Yes, a bit out of the way, and this ain't your average chain motel. That's a good thing.

My wife and took a drive today and we stopped for a drink and late lunch at Pinehurst Lodge. Great service and drinks. Can't wait to comeback for their Prime Rib on a Saturday night. Very friendly place.

Whilst the tavern is rustic there are plenty of positives. The food is simple but good, with tasty steaks cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and price is cheap. The accommodation is simple with the plumbing needing a service as it was constantly backed up. Standing in smelly dirty water during the shower is far from my ideal vacation.... More

We had a great meal there, not to far from the park. Not to expensive., very rustic mountain type experience.

The "lodge" turned out to be a small one bedroom cabin with 4 beds. There was only one set of towels left for four adults and a small child. There was one peace of reading material in the cabin, a novel in German that one of our party was able to translate, she had to stop translating when it became... More

The picture of this place is incorrect. It's a rustic mountain bar with a cheap looking table area with ripped up bar stools. Unfriendly staff that clearly don't want to be there. There's a 2 bdrm cabin on the property that they rent out. There's no heat. They don't wash the sheets and the coffee mugs weren't washed from the... More
