OK, the outside and inside are underwhelming in terms of ambiance and decor. So don't take your date here for a romantic time. It is well maintained and clean, it's just boring looks-wise. Food was well made and classic. Service was good. Nothing was wrong with the place yet I don't feel any urge to return either.

Wonderful dinner served by gracious staff. The decor is stunning, and very calming. It's a treat to dine in a place where you can actually talk to your companion. I had the honey pecan chicken and it was delectable. We cleaned our plates. Can't wait to return.

I entertained several business guests here based on the recommendation of a local colleague and found it to be a strange experience. This place seems to be searching for an identity. The feel inside is that of a large catering hall with not enough business. Part of the room was separated by a movable divider (just some unused tables behind... More

Looking for fine dining without ostentation in Milpitas, this is the place, italian and world fine food, classy and friendly at a time, large dining room well decorated although not very intimate, was there with a group of 10 and no one was disappointed

New Orleans chicken was awesome! Mushroom appetizer was also great. Bread Pudding for dessert. I was part of a party of 10 there for a business meeting that included very discerning diners and everyone seemed to be very happy with the food. The service was also very good.....not too overbearing but there when needed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We were staying in Milpitas overnight before flying home from thye San Jose Airport. I looked at Tip Advisor reviews and saw Zahir's as the second best in Milpitas. So we decided to give it a try and were extremely pleased by the results. Firstly the tables are not crammed together so you actually have a chance to talk without... More

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Asked to be served a bit slow, but in US this seems just too difficult... Although place was near empty... Food was really nice.

Having seen the reviews on Trip Advisor, my business colleague and I decided to try Zahir's 579 Bistro during a business trip to the South Bay area this week. It was a great decision and two of the best meals we have had in this area. That's right - two meals each. It was so good the first night, we... More

I had the New Orleans Chicken, which was excellent! A chicken breast stuffed with Anduille sausage, spinach, and bacon! Served with Seasoned rice and brocolli. Service was attentive and accommodating. It's a family run business. I was served by the granddaughter of the owner. Modern, quirky decor gives it California character. I recommend the place.

My daughter's boyfriend, a splendid young man. We were so lucky to select this restaurant! Food delicious, drinks superb (Grey Goose in the Bloody Mary). Appetizers perfect, entrées hot and perfectly seasoned, Hillary the best server. We are going back very soon. The owner personally made my Bloody Mary
