Great neighborhood find

We were staying at a Embassy Suites and found Giorgio's nearby on a walk. The welcome started things off on a good foot. The food was very good and the service was quick and accommodating. If you go be prepared to take some home as the portions are quite large. Very lively during happy hour.

This restaurant came highly recommended by one of the bell men at the hotel and it didn't disappoint. As we approached, it looked like there would be a long wait for a table, but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated very quickly. The décor is a little dated, but not distracting, and the service was good. I ordered the... More

This is a hidden gem. Arrived late to my hotel, they recommended this restaurant, glad they did. The chicken parmegan was outstanding. Ate at the bar, great bartender. Knoes when to talk, and when to leave you alone to eat the food.

While staying in Milpitas for business, my coworkers and I enjoyed dining at Giorgio's Italian Food and Pizza. The chicken parmesian was spectacular, as were all the dishes served to my coworkers. The pizza was some of the best I've ever tasted, and made great leftovers for lunch the next day. Our waitress, Stephanie, was a delight! We enjoyed our... More

I recently visited Giorgio's with a group of colleagues for dinner. Pros: We were greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. The ambiance was pleasant. The food was excellent! The calamari was the best I've had--tender and flavorful. The menu was extensive and included many tasty sounding meals. Unfortunately, since I don't have much of an appetite while traveling I... What disguishes italian resturants is thier sauce. Everyone can boil pasta. Thier sauces is mildly sweet with a good tomato flavor and italian spices. It has a good consitency, not watery and clings to the pasta well. All thier other food is good too. Reasonably priced and nice atmostphere.

This is very tasty, dependable southern Italian food in the midcentury American model -- red sauces, pasta, eggplant parmesan, etc. The atmosphere is the same: green leatherette booths and red-checked tablecloths -- a very pleasant place that smells of garlic, herbs, and browning cheese when you walk in. There's also a full bar and a modest wine list. I lure... More

This restaurant is on our list of regular places we go periodically, and we always enjoy it. Every year for Christmas I give my wife gift certificates to this place. She likes getting the present, and it doesn't really cost me anything because we would have gone they anyway! Anyway, if you are in the mood for good Italian food,... More

The food is average Italian fare, but it is all made fresh-to-order. The two really delicious items were the freshly-baked herbed dinner rolls (instead of the customary bread sticks) and the spinach/mushroom salad. There are many vegetarians choices. What I liked most about this restaurant was the atmosphere. Upon entering, the dimmed lights and rich, dark colors made me feel... More
