Great waffles

Ate here twice during my recent visit and both times the food was good. Bacon, eggs and pancakes for breakfast the 1st visit and had the waffles on my 2nd visit. Both times I enjoyed the meal. Be prepared for a wait if you go for brunch on the week-end as they are busy.

The clubhouse chicken sandwich we ordered at this restaurant was nor edible. The chicken was soft and spongy and had little flavor. The bacon tasted old and soggy. The french fries were overcooked. We told the on duty manager about the bad chicken sandwich. The manager's reply, "I will let the cook know your comments". No apology, no credit on... More

I was looking for a good breakfast before spending most of my day on an airplane. I found it at Millbrae Pancake House. Their sign says "Since 1959" and that is plainly evident before you even step inside. The place just looks old from the outside. The inside is pretty much the same; it looks like it has not had... This is an eatery which 'has been discovered.' Unlike some in this category, the food is still great, and it is clear why it is packed. Great omelets and pancakes.

Minus one dot because the staff sometimes forgets you are there. I had to go get a water and coffee refill myself at the station. - several times. Friendly staff, but just distracted in the back at their social table. Other than the occasional neglectful waitress, the food is simply perfect. Just what you'd imagine breakfast should be. Coffee is... More

The service is not that great. But the pancakes are worth the stop. It's a real local place - not fancy. It's like the old pancakes houses in the 60's to 70's. Take the next exit to Millbrae after the Airport. The food is really good!

Long-established mom-and-pop neighborhood breakfast eatery in the best American style. Extensive menu of egg and pancake dishes, very reasonable prices. Wait staff and other employees friendly and welcoming, never met a stranger. Patrons of all social echelons having a good meal in a bright, airy atmosphere.

This place was not fancy at all, which is great, and the food was really good too. Seemed like a very local place and filled with happy customers. Great menu with salads, soups, and not just pancakes and morning food. It was close to our hotel and we ended up eating dinner and breakfast there, happy campers. My husband raved... More

My daughter and I had breakfast here on 6/25. Great menu and the food quality was good. Most selections come loaded with pancakes, hash browns, toast, in addition to the main course, so bring your appetite! I was also impressed with the service, especially the coffee guy who came by regularly and remembered my request for brown sugar. Overall, very... More

Not as great as people want it to be, but not bad. Breakfast is decent, but lunch and dinner are pretty much given over to heating up Sysco stuff. The chicken fried steak is atrocious and the gravy comes from a powder.
