Try the Bangin Bartha(eggplant), Chicken Ticka(white meat on a metal pan), and Saag(spinach) and my wife's favorite fish curry with green veggies, not potatoes and ask for a crispy naan unless you like it like our friend Judy. We eat there once a week for sure sometimes more often, healthy food and if you like it hot as fire ask... More

Wasn't sure what to expect and I'm not a frequent Indian food eater, but this was a great stop! Loved the variety of flavors from their sampler plate and the prices were really reasonable. Nice and quite dining room and the service was super fast and friendly...we'll be back.

Service was helpful and friendly, waitress was always eager to help. The food was delicious, all of the meals came with excellent rice and naan. Could not recommended this place more.

Indian food done well, quality is always good. Food does not come up fast, but it is worth your wait as you eat your soup or salad

We went here for lunch on a Tuesday, and the food was excellent--not a lot of choices, but each dish was tasty. The naan was brought to our table fresh and warm; excellent service and a wonderful option for a weekday meal.

We topped here on the way home form a bike rice and were pretty happy with the experience. There was only on waiter holding down the fort on a busy afternoon, but he did his best to take care of us and was very nice. Being extremely hungry after 60 mile of racing we opted for the buffet and were... More

I am so glad this restaurant is in Merced. It gives an excellent Indian option to the more prevalent Chinese, Thai, and Mexican restaurants that dominate Merced. Love the Tandoori, love the naan and kulcha (try the special naan and the onion kulcha, both excellent).

I was new to eating Indian food and needed a little advice on what to choose. The staff was very helpful and made some great recommendations. The dishes in the cream tomato sauce are especially good. They are a little pricey for this area considering the small portions and the atmosphere is just ok. However, there is a small buffet... More
