World's Best Deviled Eggs! Spicy & memorable.

This is a burger joint, vastly cleaned up from 50 years ago when I first saw the place. It was a student & workmen's watering hole & a neighborhood fixture. The students have grown up & their kids & grandchildren still go back. It's a popular at lunch, after games, & when you're hungry & thirsty... read more

Came here after a suggestion from local landlady. The staff were friendly, and I had barely sat down before my food was ready. The burger was all one could ask for with plenty of relish.

This place used to be mainly a peanuts-on-the floor sports bar, full of testosterone and not much in the way of edible food. This has changed in multiple ways--including, surprisingly good (simple) food and a number of decent wines (!) on the menu. I've found that while the diversity of clientele and menu items has added to the attraction for... More

Bait and Switch! Buyer Beware! Their website Says certain pitchers of beer are $14 BUT at the back bar where you buy beer they charges $17 what a clip joint! I called them on it and the un professional Bartender said "We haven't updated our website" Hey that's your problem! Just a lousy experience. You have been warned

It is definitely worth the visit, nice atmosphere similar to German beergardens. I did not have food so i cannot comment on it but beer was excellent

Ahh...The Dutch Goose. It would be easy to go here for lunch on Sunday and end up staying through dinner with the right company. The food is everything you'd expect from an establishment as local and atmospheric as this one. Good food options for vegetarians, the no red meat crowd, and the good draft beer crowd a like. I would... More

As a long time Menlo Park resident I've always known that the Dutch Goose is a great spot for burgers and beer. It's a fun place to watch sports, play pool and hang out after a game. What I didn't know until last weekend was that the spicy deviled eggs are off the charts. I would have never considered ordering... More

I can always rely on the Dutch Goose for a lively atmosphere, a great burger and a friendly crowd. Mixed age group where parents dine with kids, teenagers come along on their own.

So we're fortunate enough to live 3-4 blocks away from 'The Goose' which is a neighborhood institution so we we get up there quite frequently and often with our four children in tow! When I say 'it will surprise you' that is exactly what I mean..it's family friendly despite its look inside/out it is perfect for kids and there is... More

I live in the neighborhood, and I've been many times. In fact, I've been going since the early '80s, and I've watched The 'Goose getting better every year. The burgers and deviled eggs and clams and peanuts have always defined good time fun food at the 'Goose. But in the last decade a new wonderful owner made some amazing adds... More
