My go to burger place

Food is great. Highly recommend the deviled eggs, tater tots, and the teriyaki chicken on garlic bread. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for families.

A good local burgers & brew spot. A Stanford haunt. College ambience, including hand "carved" tables. Some games 4 the kids & an excellent outdoor patio, jumping on F & S afternoons/nights. Decent specials (happy hour & daily food). Recent renovation just complete - so maybe worth another looksie.

I've visited Dutch Goose since I was a kid. My step-dad would bring us here for lunch on the weekends. Although the last visit wasn't as fun as it used to be. Now it's too crowded (before we would be the only ones there!). The food is still as good, but the noise, crowd, and lack of seating due to... More

This place is an institution and makes one of the best burgers around. But it is the atmosphere that is really special. In contrast to the wealth and splendor of Atherton and Menlo Park, the Dutch Goose apologetically serves good burgers in plastic baskets to be consumed on wooden benches. Great.

My family went there after it reopened for a couple of days. Wish we didn't go as they weren't ready for the grand opening as people were standing waiting over an hour for simple food! It's a popular local joint & I wonder if DG takes it for granted & becomes arrogant? This place is partially updated, but not much... More

I was hoping that the burgers would be excellent but they're just okay. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were delicious! Large, tender and seasoned just right. YUM! This is a very casual eatery. Feels like a pub (lots of beer and wine) that decided to sell food. They let customers carve their names into the walls by... More

Came for lunch with my grandchildren. I've been eating here since the early 70s when my husband was in grad school. Burgers are the best but the deviled eggs are to die for. By grilled cheese is good as are the muscles. Have never had a bad meal here. Gets very busy at lunch and the evenings so send one... More

We usually hang out at the Duck Blind where the outdoor patio is located. They finally finished renovation and reopened last weekend. The women's bathroom is brand new and so spacious and clean inside to meet wheelchair and handicap codes. It's a burger joint, but now they just started serving pizza. Try it out for yourself. The Bloody Mary's are... More

This is a burger joint, vastly cleaned up from 50 years ago when I first saw the place. It was a student & workmen's watering hole & a neighborhood fixture. The students have grown up & their kids & grandchildren still go back. It's a popular at lunch, after games, & when you're hungry & thirsty, with burger-brats-chili-sandwiches-salads-draft beers, including... More

Came here after a suggestion from local landlady. The staff were friendly, and I had barely sat down before my food was ready. The burger was all one could ask for with plenty of relish.
