I went here to watch the world cup final. It very much has the feel of an english pub with a pool table, lots of TV's, and a few different rooms. The TV's are out of sync which was annoying as you'd hear the 'cheer' before seeing the goal. The food was OK, I had a chicken sandwich. Beer not... More

Good Value burgers - very tasty served in a pub like atmosphere. A wide variety of beers on sale, although nothing too special it did appear very popular with locals. Maybe because we are English we have a different idea of beer. Fast food - done well

In the same league as Oasis and Risotti's/Alpine Inn but somehow falls short of their nostalgic awesomeness. That said, the patio is nice.

The Goose is a long standing institution. All the Stanford Locals love it. My spouse goes for the burger, sweet potato fries and deviled eggs. I choose one of the specials to avoid the grease. Many beers on tap and some good wines. Three areas: Inside with wooden booths and memorabilia, a patio with picnic tables, and a back bar.

I've been going to the 'Goose' for over 30 years. it's always been a place with a great vibe and good food. In the recent years, a new owner has brought many improvements that have made the iconic Goose even better! A broad selection of wine and beer inside and the "Duck Blind", a full bar, outside in the rear... More

Let's face it, food is average, but perfect atmosphere for a local watering hole! A place where us old-timers born in the 60s still can play pool and Galaga. Known for their spicy deviled eggs, which are well worth tasting - yum!

Typical American Bar (European point of view) where you can go to see a Basket/Am Football/ Baseball / etc with friend and you can taste a delicious Burgher (I suggest the California one) and a good beer. Is not a restaurant d'elite off course but probably I will come back soon

It's like Silicon Valley's rendition of a dive bar for soccer moms, and I don't mean that as a slam or anything. The inside is surprisingly well kept and well lit. The crowd is eclectic and low key. I like it, even if I do always feel tempted to rip the Google Glasses off of some people there. The prices... More

The Dutch goose is a fairly average beer and burger place. Free peanuts for happy hour and peanut shells on the floor. In the summer, the tiny open area in the back is great. Patrons are a mix of the Silicon Valley crowd and stanford students.

The Dutch Goose is one of the few remaining "neighborhood" burger joints remaining in the area. Feeding hundreds or so a night on hamburgers, cheeseburgers and (more recently) turkey burgers and salads, this institution truly packs 'em in during Stanford games and little league and soccer seasons. The food is OK and not outrageously priced, though they load up their... More
