Best hamburger in town!

We had eaten so many fancy meals, we decided we were ready for a burger. Our son suggested this place. The food was very good. We had burgers, salads, fries and chips. It was all good and priced very fair. Lots of big TV's. Seemed to have good choices on beer. Fun place to eat.

Have been going to the Goose every few weeks for almost 30 years! The long overdue, albeit forced, remodel is a welcome change, but we very much miss the bar stools facing the grill where we could watch the game on the tv. The burgers have always been great, and the expanded menu is nice. The service, however, is sub-par.... More

Love their brisket sandwich. Sometimes inconsistent in the amount of meat in the slider sandwiches. "Home made" potato chips are tasty.

I had a couple of beers as I waited to meet a friend and left feeling like a local in this friendly, relaxed bar/restaurant. I arrived late on a Friday afternoon and soon struck up a conversation with a man who has been going here for 40 years. From him I learned of the rich history of the Goose. I... More

I was very eager to visit the newly designed Goose. And I am so happy to say that the food is just as yummy as before but the atmosphere is quite nice with the new outdoor space. I have to say it is a bit fancy by old Goose standards but still feel comfortable as when I was young and... More

Being from Michigan, I was curious to check out the place where Harbaugh has been rumored to hang out when he lived in California. Definitely a neighborhood bar, this was a place to visit. My companions raved about the spicy deviled eggs, and the burgers were definitely very good. There is no wait staff, and the peanut shells on the... More

We had lunch here and it was very good. Typical American fare in an authentic American bar and good value. Whilst we weren't there when a game was on I'm sure it would be even better. Definitely worth having the sweet potato fries the peanuts!

Cheeseburgers & fries The place has lots of character, with an outside patio/ bar. It has been recently re-done, the bench seats were nicely covered. The cheeseburger was good, but the fries were cold. The pizza looks good (we will try it next time).

A good local burgers & brew spot. A Stanford haunt. College ambience, including hand "carved" tables. Some games 4 the kids & an excellent outdoor patio, jumping on F & S afternoons/nights. Decent specials (happy hour & daily food). Recent renovation just complete - so maybe worth another looksie.

Food is great. Highly recommend the deviled eggs, tater tots, and the teriyaki chicken on garlic bread. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for families.
