My wife and I have had breakfasts here in the past and enjoyed them immensely. This time, we showed up just after two o'clock (they close at two-thirty) and enjoyed a nice lunch. I would call it a light lunch, but it was anything but light. My wife had to carry out half of her Monte Cristo sandwich, salad and... More

Even after having been there three years ago, my husband remembered this place and specifically requested our son to take us here. Breakfast at Stacks is a never to be forgotten experience. I had the bacon, mushroom, cheese scramble. Our server knew exactly what I wanted when I requested a soft scramble. Delicious! Wish we lived closer!

My family went there for a brunch and apart from the 45 minute wait for a table it was very good. I couldn't resist having a short stack alongside an omelette but this was a mistake as the pancakes were huge! Overall a good place to enjoy good food.

The food here is decent, but nothing special and a little overpriced. Usually this place is really crowded on Saturday mornings. It's basically THE breakfast place in downtown Menlo Park.

Service - terrible. Waited so long for food, we had to go ask if our waiter had forgotten about us. Coffee was terrible. The rest of the food was average or less - except for the bacon, which was very nicely done. *** Rest Rooms are DISGUSTING. Most freeway gas stations are cleaner and better maintained. **

With so many great breakfast places to eat at in the area why would you choose a chain? The food is average at best and the coffee is worse. The prices are high and the staff are overwhelmed. Our advice is to skip this place and find somewhere else that is more original!

A breakfast and lunch place in Menlo Park, CA. I have also had breakfast a few times at the Stacks in Burlingame. They are both convenient places to meet because of their 'on the corner' locations. However, the breakfasts are average, as well as the salads. Even the salad dressings are average if not below average for what one would... More

Get the banana, macadamia nut coconut pancakes. Honestly, beyond belief. Everything is fresh and delicious. The fruit salad was still fresh the next day in our fridge. Just don't go there in a hurry: There will be a line, for good reason.
