This is my second time having dinner at Cook's Seafood My husband and I had a 2 piece fish and chip dinner with cold slaw. Our total was $21. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. The fish was perfectly cooked. The fries were the thick/steak fries. The cold slaw was excellent; not too mayonnaisey and... More

I've probably been to this restaurant a hundred times. It is consistently outstanding! The local halibut and chips is a real favorite as is the mixed crab and shrimp louie salad. The fish, no matter what the preparation, is super fresh and this is the basis for everything good that goes on here. The restaurant is twinned to a fresh... More

I stop in occasionally for some chowder (tasty) and some fish & chips (very tasty), but mostly I come to Cook's to buy oysters, local crabs, and other seafood to take home and prepare myself. Fresh high quality seafood handled by professional fishmongers. Always clean -- never a fishy smell like some places and the product doesn't taste like refrigerator... More

Very fresh, high quality cod or halibut expertly deep fried is what to expect at this combo fish and chips restaurant and seafood market. Nothing fancy but great fish & chips plus a few average cold seafood salads.

This is reliably a very good fish market. The prices are also very reasonable and there is an excellent choice of fresh seafood! The to -go food---sandwiches and fish and chips is also quite good, fresh, and well priced. You cannot go wrong with this choice.

This is a straight-forward counter-service restaurant. Lots of choices in seafood and they offer fried and grilled cooking options. Fried shrimp and fried oysters are 2 of my favorites. Husband said the fish and chips were good but nothing special. I like crispy, thin-cut fries so their steak fries are not my favorite. They have fresh tasting seafood salads (salmon,... More

this place has great food for the price. Best spot in menlo park by far. Can be a bit too fried, but who cares.

As New England transplants to the Palo Alto area, I was pleasantly surprised by Cook's Seafood restaurant. The counter style ordering is very reminiscent of all the New England Friend Seafood joints up and down the East Coast. Their Fried Scallop dinner was perfectly done and deliciously sweet.

Stopped here thinking they would offer many different ways to cook fish. My husband order the salmon and I order the sea bass. Well it came deep battered and fried. A bit surprised but it actually was very good. The clam chowder was not as good and I do not recommend it. Not very many clams and just ok. We... More

My adult son and I shared a quick lunch at Cook's. What a disappointment it was! What a missed opportunity! This fast food restaurant was on par with Long John Silver's.
