Tradition and Quality

It's a fish house after the American classical fashion. They have fresh fish. They cook it honest and plain. I love places like this. Had the flounder and the clam chowder. The chowder was very plain, but lots of clams, a medium thick base, straight down the middle. The flounder was fresh and... read more

Whenever we want to get fresh seafood there is not better place than Cook's in Menlo Park. There are two sides, the restaurant and then there is the fish market. I mainly go to the fish market side as that is where the fresh seafood is. The people behind the refrigerator are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They will still smile... More

If fish & chips is what you crave, look no further!! I don't live in the area anymore but my family still does so when I get a chance to visit, this is the first stop. The batter is perfectly blended with the Alaskan halibut (or cod if you're on a budget). My family orders their largest order of fish... More

Totally not what we were expecting. The fish was deep fried and very oily. Not a place I would return to.

Lots of different varieties of fish and chips, including local fresh fish. Good steak fries too. Next door you can buy fresh fish too.

Well established seafood restaurant that my family has enjoyed for years. Combined with a good fish market.

Cook's Seafood is popular place to go for lunch. I like to go there and have their tuna fish sandwich. One orders at the counter and then they deliver to one's table. The fish in the fish market area of Cook's is excellent. I usually buy some if I stop here to enjoy for a meal which I will cook... More

If fish and chips is what you're craving, then this is your place! The ambiance is kind of lacking in the restaurant, but the food makes up for it. The thick cut fries are amazing! The seafood counter has always been my go to when I lived in Menlo Park. They have a good selection and always give good recommendations... More

Cook's is what can I say, my absolute favorite restaurant at 53 years of age! I can say that with confidence. Its not fancy, but its clean and a bit kitchey with the fish theme and all but I kinda like it! Ya have to like blue! Still, you don't go here for the ambience. You go for the best... More
