Stanford Alums who have never been to the Dutch Goose, one mile west, overrate this place. Both are college spots with wooden booths, beer and burgers. We live between the two and prefer the DG hands down, as do our other local Alums. If you are into nostalgia, fine, but for better burgers, more menu, wine, larger space go to... More

Good food, a great sports atmosphere. Always a stop here when we get to town for a Stanford home game.

Practically grew up here -- burgers, bear, pizza, peanuts, carved wooden tables, sports on TV, pinball, outdoor patio. When childhood friends come back for a visit, it's always "OASIS!" Not the best food on the planet, but one of the best places.

A down-home local establishment with a great atmosphere and delicious bar food! What more can one ask for?! Our favorite local hang out! Try a pitcher of Sculpin IPA and some salty shelled peanuts and unwind after work!

This place is just a classic for a dinner with friends. The place has a unique character, not exactly a romantic place...

Good spot for buffalo chicken wings - true Buffalo, NY style. Crispy, but tender, hot with blue cheese - best I've found outside of NY. The other dishes are mediocre. The pizza seems popular, but then again, not East Coast quality. Nice outdoor patio seating with plenty of sports on hand in large flat screen format. A regular for locals... More

This very local sports bar is well worth going to have one of their burgers or pizzas. Both of the pizzas we had were well dressed and the crust was nice and crispy. The burgers are really good and service OK for the crowd that was there. It is near Stanford and they do get a college crowd at times.... More

You can go through my history - I DONT give one star reviews to places normally. But this place was the pits. What worked? - Nice all-age, all-culture crowd at the place (no overly yuppy crowd here) - the staff is pleasant What was terrible? - The pizza - it was about an inch thick, the base was BURNED. There... More

Does no one love buffalo wings here? The Oasis serves authentic, meaty chicken wings in authentic spicy Buffalo-style sauce that are not matched in the Bay Area, except by its sister restaurants in the Jake's group. And the atmosphere is old-style pub with wood tables and booths that must have been there since the place opened in the '50s. Sure... More

Need I say more? I love having outdoor seating (with TV screens), free peanuts, and good beers. The food is basic bar food - perfectly fine. The peanuts and outdoor space make it a reasonable place to go with kids for a few beers and some bar food.
