All our meals were really good; especially sea food. The best surprise was the wine by the glass a Napa cabernet! The service is impeccable considering how busy they were! Quaint decor and bubbly atmosphere; dress code: everything, many were casual. The bread was delicious too, with both options: butter and oil.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Stanford University area. Not only do they serve good, authentic, Italian food in generous portions, everyone there serves with a warm smile. On my second visit they remembered my name and were ready with food and beverage recommendations. Roberto and Mark behind the bar will make you feel like family. Whether... More

Once again we had an excellent lunch at Carpaccio! The service is perfect and the food delicious! Our group had Caesar salad with Scottish salmon (the salmon was amazing), Caesar salad with chicken, specially prepared and baked oysters, and seasonal pear salad. All meals were perfect and thoroughly enjoyed. The servers are attentive, but do not hover. A very enjoyable... More

We went here based on Trip Advisor reviews. It's fabulous, but extremely popular with locals who all walk around greeting each other (and welcoming you!!). But make a reservation to get a table, they are always booked so walk-ins may have difficulty.

I love everything about Carpaccio. I’ve been dining there for over 10 years and it never gets old. It’s a local hangout. If you go there on Friday night, you will see the same people at the bar every week. If you live in Menlo Park, you will see many of your neighbors. The bartender and servers have worked there... Always a favorite place for me to dine alone, when I don't want to be alone. The friendly attentive bar staff always make me feel welcome along with the other equally welcoming patrons.

I slipped in for a quick lunch during a business trip. Had a fabulous mushroom soup and Caesar Salad and toasted bread with their dipping stuff. Ate at the bar. Service was great, fresh Arnold Palmer was above and beyond. Will definitely return and try the oysters and do dinner.

Used to be sooo good, but now just expensive. My family had dinner there last night. My daughters birthday dinner. We have been loving this place for years, but not lst night. Firstly bread but no olive oil/vinegar, no one noticed or corrected. The carpaccio was good, but the split pea soup was salty and not much else. Dinners come,... More

Never fails to please. Varied menu includes pasta, salads, pizza, to full main course and tempting desert. Food is always tasty, well prepared and presented. Seasonal items on menu. Atmosphere is lively, noisy and vibrant. Full bar adds to upbeat and party feeling. Regular customers have been coming to Carpaccio for many years. The management makes you feel welcome and... More

The bread was great. The other dishes I had were just ok: panzanella salad, pappardelle with sundried tomatoes, mushroom and chianti, gelato.
