This was our first visit to Carpaccios and we will be back. Party of 4 tried 3 different pasta dishes and all were good. My gnocchi were light and fluffy with a tasty meat sauce. Excellent selection of wines, including by the glass.

We're long time customers at Carpaccio and dine there frequently. We can depend on consistently good favorites and the owner continues to add creative, flavorful items to the weekly specials and menu. Some of our "must haves" include the carpaccio, oysters asiago, oven warmed sourdough bread, calamari steak, gamberini, lasagna (Wed. and Fri.), sausage pizza, gnocchi....do you see where we're... Considering that we dined at Carpaccio on Valentines Day, it could have been less than a positive experience. But, even though the restaurant was packed, our dining experience was wonderful! Great food; great service!

The petrale sole is fabulous - get the sand dabs if in season tho. Can't beat the lasagna. But my favorite thing there is a well made, beautifully poured Negroni to go with all the great food. Save room for dessert because the tiramisu is great. I have dropped over 200 bucks for lunch for two with wine, coffee, desserts... More

We have been going to Carpaccio for many years and have never had bad meal there. The extensive menu may present a problem in that one has so many choices that it is sometimes difficult to choose one. No matter. If you're smart, you'll go there again and have something different. The front desk people are pleasant and welcoming. The... More

All our meals were really good; especially sea food. The best surprise was the wine by the glass a Napa cabernet! The service is impeccable considering how busy they were! Quaint decor and bubbly atmosphere; dress code: everything, many were casual. The bread was delicious too, with both options: butter and oil.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Stanford University area. Not only do they serve good, authentic, Italian food in generous portions, everyone there serves with a warm smile. On my second visit they remembered my name and were ready with food and beverage recommendations. Roberto and Mark behind the bar will make you feel like family. Whether... More

Once again we had an excellent lunch at Carpaccio! The service is perfect and the food delicious! Our group had Caesar salad with Scottish salmon (the salmon was amazing), Caesar salad with chicken, specially prepared and baked oysters, and seasonal pear salad. All meals were perfect and thoroughly enjoyed. The servers are attentive, but do not hover. A very enjoyable... More

We went here based on Trip Advisor reviews. It's fabulous, but extremely popular with locals who all walk around greeting each other (and welcoming you!!). But make a reservation to get a table, they are always booked so walk-ins may have difficulty.
