I get the shrimp in lobser sauce combo lunch - not on the menu but you can order it anyway and get the great bargain price. I have been frequenting Su Hongs for as long as I can remember - decades... Portions have gotten smaller, prices have gone up but it's still good chinese food. Consistant and not too salty.

All of the dishes taste almost the same in respect to flavor (bland & "oriental" flavored) -seemingly, only different in texture & form. I eat phenomenal Chinese food constantly & every time I've tried Su Hong, I've been disappointed & just don't get it. I guess then again, people (mostly non-Asian patrons here), don't want strong flavors, contrarily, super-watered down... More

The pharmacy is located within a 5-minute walk. Which turned out to be very useful after I ate dinner here.

I used to enjoy eating here but they closed and disappeared from the face of the earth. The space is now festering for many months. The takeout branch never was very good....so they are gone from my perspective.

We like their eggplant dishes, their chicken salad, their curries. Our family has grown up on its "Mongo Beef" (Mongolian Beef). They offer brown rice now, too.

This restaurant is no longer open. Should be taken off your grid. Can't review if no restaurant. Not sure it is going to reopen. It has been in Menlo Park for years and is missed. They only have opened Su Hong To Go take out.

The sit-down Su Hong on El Camino has closed. The ToGo location around the corner is still open. There's not much to say, because a closed restaurant has very slow service, and not much atmosphere.

To be honest, Su Hong To Go (located across the street on Doyle Street) is better than the sit-down version. Especially the General's chicken, which is a huge favorite. That said, Su Hong sit-down is still a nice place for a meal. The portions can be a little too small if you have a large group. Highly recommend the chow... More

This is a very standard California-chines style restaurant, what they have the do very well. Chinese chicken salad and Mu shu are my favorites when I go. Their corn soup is very good. Portions are large enough to share and we often order too much food so we can take some home. Their walnut prawns are good. They also have... More
