Perhaps My Finest Dining Experience

Jesse Cool's Flea Street Cafe is perhaps the best dining experience I have had, period! Flea Street Cafe is our go-to place for celebration dinners. The food is simply fantastic with full commitment to the farm-to-table philosophy. My wife prefers vegetarian dishes and Flea Street's Vegetarian Entree (always different) shows off the true creativity of the Flea Street Chefs. I lean more toward fish and am always surprised at just how good it can be.... More

My wife and I went last week after thinking about it for years. The dinner was well worth it but shame on us for not going much sooner. The food was fresh, creative pairings of ingredients and the service very good. The peach and tomato salad appetizer was excellent! I had the duck confit entrée while my wife had the... More

We had dinner here last week for our 30th anniversary, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent, perfectly timed. Portions are very generous, almost too large. My only complaint: it was very cold inside, this did take a bit away from the night.

I Love this restaurant. The food is creative, fresh, and delicious. High points of our last visit were the vegetarian tasting and halibut. We sat outside on the patio on a perfect night. I have two very minor complaints. 1) the biscuits are so delicious that I always overindulge before our dishes arrive and 2) the peach or nectarine cobbler... More

Great food and mochas. Outdoor seating nice to relax after a workout or errand running. On the weekend head to farmer market take the train home.

A great place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting where you can hear each other. The homemade breads in the bread basket were high quality. We enjoyed the ahi tuna and the lamb chops. Both amazing. Excellent choices of wines by the glass.

I have been in this restaurant a few times over the last two years and the food, although a bit pricey, is very good. The cocktails are very nice too, the one I tried i think is called Lavander Lemno Drop and it is really nice. The last time I went in March '15 the bill was quite high, nearly... More

The Flea Street cafe is average. The menu is average, the food is average, and the hostess stand misunderstands just how important the restaurant is. There was nothing creative about the menu, farm to table concept but mediocre creativity. The mushroom soup was meh, the beet salad was a standard beet salad, and the short ribs were average. On the... More

We had a variety of dishes but no one raved or even made positive comments about what they ate. The short ribs were at best okay and the fish was bland. A nice setting but the place was a bit noisy. Selection of specialty drinks was the highlight.
