I love this place. Its a bit on the pricy side, but I love the Salmon Carpaccio with a glass of white wine enough to pay it. And being right next to Keplers makes it even more appealing.

Cafe Borrone is a Menlo Park institution next to Kepler's Books (another Menlo Park institution.) You can't go wrong here; great chicken salad and chicken salad sandi. Excellent coffee drinks. So you have to wait in line, pay, and the wait staff will deliver to your table but if you want to order something else they will take your order... More

Fresh sandwiches, salad's, soups daily special's. Good small selection of beer on tap. Comfortable place to eat or go for a coffee alone. Outside and inside tables, bookstore next door. Live jazz some Friday nights

I love this place! It is great for all meals and all of the food is great. The staff are attentive and wonderful. The waits are usually short. There are usually open tables for 3-4 people in this nice outside patio. Smaller tables are inside but it is up to you where to sit. As I said before you should... More

We just moved into the area and are so happy we stumbled upon this obviously well-loved establishment, evidenced by the long line (that moves rapidly!) on Sunday morning. Drink your dark roast coffee from a brightly colored mug and enjoy the attentive staff and wide array of tasty pastries (blueberry muffins are a must!) and savory breakfast options!

We in Menlo Park feel bad that not everyone gets to have a Cafe Borrone in their town. The food is good, but the ambiance is even better. Friendly, open, comfortable--and you always see someone you know.

Very good food, a little pricey but it's worth it. Service is friendly and efficient. Fun and energetic gathering spot for any meal especially on a nice day. Very comfortable if you're on your own too. Popular with locals (and their dogs). Cafe Borrone and next-door Kepler's book store a source of pride for Menlo Park. Close to downtown, train... More

Borrone's is a fun place to go, especially on a Friday evening when a jazz band plays. I recommend Borrone for a drink as their meals can add up.

Popular spot - always a long line if you arrive near noon. Hard to find seating either indoors or out on nice days. Good salads, sandwiches and drinks, a tempting dessert assortment. Love the Frosted Mocha on warm days. Expensive.
