Great family friendly breakfast place.

We go to Borrone every other week, or at least once a month. We love the indoor and outdoor seating even though it does get super crowded. I love their food... Love coming here for breakfast. Food is great and the expansive patio is a must for eating outside and people watching. Baked goods are so fresh. I recommend the berry streusel muffins. Egg scrambles are also great. Have never had a bad meal here.

This is a wonderful restaurant or upscale coffee house located in the heart of Menlo Park, California. I serves interesting dishes that make one keep coming back for more. It at the end of Santa Cruz Avenue located next to a wonderful book store. The food is healthy and good, with excellent proportions.

I love this place. It loses a star overall because it can get crowded, especially if it's too cold to sit outside. On the plus side, the wait staff are uniformly helpful, cheerful and efficient and the pastries are wonderful. And lots of different coffees

During my visit to Menlo Park I stopped in here for one lunch and one brunch. Both were excellent. Try the French toast or any of the panini

I was introduced to this very fine place by a friend, who recommended it as it gives a precious opportunity to hide in a little crowd of residents in Menlo Park. I didn't see Joan Baez, I didn't shake hands with any Apple guru, but the place looked filled with happy people of all kinds. The caffè macchiato was all... More

At first glance you would think that this is a snobbish very expensive place and you would be incorrect. This is a great breakfast place for one person, couples or groups. The breakfast scrambles are wonderful as are the waffles. The outdoor patio would be great but many people bring their dogs and I am allergic (rats) but inside seating... More

Cafe Borrone is the place where all the moms go, and all the au-pairs, and all the school board members, city council members, and Kiwanis club members ... and their kids and neighbors and lots of business types, well, just everybody. Great coffees, fresh salads, toothsome sandwiches, yummy sweets.

I love this place. Its a bit on the pricy side, but I love the Salmon Carpaccio with a glass of white wine enough to pay it. And being right next to Keplers makes it even more appealing.

Cafe Borrone is a Menlo Park institution next to Kepler's Books (another Menlo Park institution.) You can't go wrong here; great chicken salad and chicken salad sandi. Excellent coffee drinks. So you have to wait in line, pay, and the wait staff will deliver to your table but if you want to order something else they will take your order... More
