I've been here a few times over the past few years, and the level of the food has been pretty good. But after Mother's Day brunch yesterday, I won't be going back any time soon. The service was laughably bad. Very slow, no attention to our requests, and there was nothing we could do about it. We actually had to... More

I was disheartened to read your review about your experience on Mother's Day. We strive to provide exemplary service and experiences, and we fell short of the mark with you on Sunday. We have no excuse for the shortfalls that you experienced, nor will I offer you any. You obviously had a sup par experience, and for that, please accept... More

We recently went to the Menlo Grill. The restaurant is very nice and the tables are not crowded to provide privacy. The service was excellent. Our waiter was courteous, fast and very responsive. I can not say the same about the food. The menu has a good selection but the food itself does not meet the standard. The chicken tasted... More

We recently went to the new Menlo Grill. It took quite a while for our opening round of cocktails to arrive, and the mixed drinks were just ok...not good enough for a second round. As for the food, it was really hit and miss. Salads and soups were served promptly and were tasty! But it took quite a while for... More

The Menlo Grill Bistro has a terrific menu and even better food. Our party of 4 shared many dishes on the menu, and each one was superb, from the black cod to the cornish hen, the lamb and appetizers. Of special note from the starters are the carrot soup and the asparagus salad, and for dessert, the mint chip cookie... More

Several people in our party were vegetarians and they loved the different vegetable plates, one was gnocchi with pumpkin and kale and the other had faro and truffle flavored pecarino. Many levels of complexity but everything went together really well. It's great to find a place that makes really interesting vegetarian choices. The meat eater in the group said his... More

If you like pork chops, these are the best I've ever tasted! Brined in cider to make them really moist, served with a wonderful sauce and attractive presentation--they came with nicely roasted brussell sprouts (which even my son liked) and slices of apple. Also recommended: their artichoke dip. My husband practically filled up on these alone. The little bit left... More

Great menu, tons of really good wines by the glass. Short Ribs to die for. Mac and blue cheese, yum! Attentive, on-the-spot, but not bothersome service. Great experience all around.
