Every single item on the menu was absolutely delicious. The New York Steak, the Mac and Cheese as well as the Burger have been absolutely delicious.

We were a large group, and our server was attentive & patient. In fact, all the staff was friendly. There's plenty of parking, as the restaurant is in the Stanford Park Hotel. Sadly, that's about as far as the positives go. it is very expensive for what you get. I had the pan roasted day boat scallops: grilled corn &... More

Food is outstanding and beautifully presented. The wait staff if very knowledgeable about the menu items and take the time to assist you with ordering. Service was timely and the make your own sunday on the dessert menu was delish and fun! The chef also sent over an appetizer that was a nice surprise.

Dear Audrey, We could not ask for higher praise or a better recommendation. It is so gratifying to read that our staff provided you with a dining experience that was memorable for both its great food and exceptional service. The "make your own sundae" has been very popular with the "pick your toppings" option. So refreshing! Thank you again for... More

I am torn about this restaurant. On the one hand, it's very convenient with lots of parking, and a nice setting. The portions were huge, good variety of dishes on the menu, many of them very tempting. The service was very good. And the prices about average. The fly in the ointment was that the food, while looking great on... More

Terrible steak- tasteless beef from ohio and bad presentation . Good service. Too loud! Not a great place compared with the dozens of other restaurants in Palo Alto !!!

Dr DANT, I’m sorry that you didn’t care for our presentation of our New York steak. We use only Certified Angus Beef, which is indeed from Ohio and we rarely receive such feedback on this product. Please trust that we value all of our diner’s opinions and strive to offer the highest quality product in both creative and approachable presentations.... More

Frequently go to the Menlo Grill for dinner and most of our dinners are consistently good. The staff is wonderful and accommodating and they have a lovely room where you can have a private family/friend gathering. They have a relatively new chef who is trying to mix it up and offer seasonal dishes. I love their hamburger which is excellent... More

We were staying at the Stanford Park and went down for a convenient breakfast. I had Eggs Benedict which was prepared perfectly. My wife's omelet was lovely as well. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu. The only downside is it was a little noisy.

Last week my wife and I had dinner at the Menlo Grill. It was the first time there for both of us, but definitely not the last. From the doorman to our servers everyone made us feel very welcome. Our server, Tommy, had two assistants and they were like a well-oiled machine. The timing of each course was perfect. Tommy... More
