Cedro closed, the place next door (Cafe Barrone) is taking over the space. I am only rating it low because if you go and can't get seated or enjoy the food, it's not much of a restaurant! Everyone said it was pretty good while it was open.

Cozy atmosphere, have had better italian abroad but this is the best I have tried in Menlo Park. Great pastas though would appreciate a change of menu more often and more vegetarian options. Since we are regulars we would like more variety, still nonetheless good home cooked food.

Service was excellent! The calamari appetizer served as more than a meal for my sweetie. The boys ordered Caesar salads and although a good portion, seemed lacking in ingredients. My pesto gnocchi was perfect in proportion and taste. This was a very pleasant place to eat and we will definitely return.

First time at Cedro, and possibly the last time. First, the positives. Nice location and a rather unique covered patio setting provides a pleasant environment for dinner. The dining area is relatively quiet and there's ample space between tables. Note that there's a cigar shop next door, and the cigar stench permeates the entrance to the restaurant somewhat. If you... We have been regulars since it opened since we love the service and the food. The food is perfect Italian food. Great pastas, great fish and meat dishes. The service is wonderful since its just the right level of attention. Its a great place for a casual family dinner, or a romantic dinner on the "patio". On weekends they have... More

If you want real Italian food without having to go to San Francisco, this is your spot! I'm constantly amazed that it is not more crowded; there have been times when we are one of only a few tables occupied. Better for us I guess in that we get the truly personalized attention of this wonderful family ownership. However, I... More

We celebrated a college graduation here, there were five of us eating and everyone absolutely loved their food. Cedro has an extensive menu and offers very generous portions! Our bottle of wine was fantastic. Dinner was so good that three of us decided to go back again the next night, with so many options on the menu we all got... More
