I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Mendocino hotel today ...the special was local lingcod stuffed with dungeness crab, it was absolutely fabulous !!

This restaurant is located in the Mendocino Hotel. It is a small, quiet Victorian style Garden type restaurant. It has a variety of unusual and delightful entrees on their menu. We went for breakfast and our food and service was outstanding. Prices are a little on the high side, but I don't think you could find a better meal.

The Hotel was built in the 1800 and the furnishings and decor takes you back to that time. We did not stay over night,(next time) but did eat at the restaurant. We had the Sunday Champagne brunch. Enjoyed an AMAZING Thanksgiving dinner there! ALL our meals were stellar! Service (Michelle) was superb! Choices were well-balanced...something for everyone! MY prime rib was lovely, and my husband's turkey dinner was fabulous! I may never cook on Turkey Day again!
