Variety of Offerings and Delicious

Three of us dined there for dinner and we all had different dishes. We eat out a lot and appreciate a meal that is paced and delicious. Rather than detail each dish, I would recommend that you pick something you like and know you won't be disappointed. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable... read more

I had high expectations of this restaurant after reading all the reviews. While the food is good, nothing really stood out as being exceptional or note-worthy. Many people write about how wonderful the bread is, so I was disappointed to find that the bread is cold when they bring it out to you, and tastes like many other standard restaurant... More

We stopped in for lunch and were really impresses! The bread they serve with meals is made fresh daily right on the premises in a wood burning brick oven and it was really great! I ordered the chicken salad with noodles, pine nuts, red peppers and snow peas and it was HUGE! There was a ton of chicken on it,... More

Try the spinach salad and crab cakes – excellent, professional table service (but not stuffy) – great local wine list. As great as a 5-star San Francisco dining experience.

I thought this would be a fancy place, as they have most excellent reviews and white table cloths. I don't always want to indulge in upscale places when I travel with my teenager, but this was awesome. Prices were extraordinarily reasonable and we both felt that we were having a culinary treat. She had the burger which was juicy and... More

The Café Beaujolais is one of our favorite restaurants in Mendocino Village. We have been patronizing this charming place for many years (since it was owned by Margaret Fox). The food is consistently excellent!

What a fantastic lunch. Cups of delicious soup followed by two different and equally wonderful salads, GREAT BREAD, and a more than adequate wines-by-the-glass selection . . . it's been our experience in Mendocino in recent years not to even think about expecting more. Nevertheless we got it. Our meals were served at a perfect pace by a waitress who... More

We came here for my wife's birthday dinner with 2 kids, so we chose the earliest time available 5:30pm. We really liked the appetizers Foie Gras and Tuna Tartar a lot. For my kids, they were able to make a cheesy pasta dish with a side of veggies. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked right, but had too... More

Our adult son, my husband and I were overnighting in Mendocino and we chose this restaurant after reading reviews on TA and getting a recommendation from our inn owner. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The meal started with a delicious mussel appetizer and fried brussel sprouts appetizers. Had we stopped right there, this review would have been 4 stars. My... The lunch at Cafe Beaujolais was great. A varied menu with fresh ingredients and featuring lots of seafood.
