Spent a couple days in McCloud recently and had a late morning breakfast at the White Mountain. The food was great ad the server made us feel like regulars.

Not only did we get a great breakfast (eggs cooked to order, tasty sausage, crispy waffle), the restaurant itself is situated in an interesting historic building. Service was friendly and the prices reasonable.

There are few choices for breakfast or lunch in the mountain town of McCloud. Fortunately, our favorite restaurant in the area is located in this small hamlet: White Mountain Cafe. The cafe is charming with an old-fashioned feel of warmth and hospitality. Our favorite breakfast fare includes their awesome omelettes, fabulous french toast/pancakes and huge mugs of excellent coffee. When... More

This is a new shop with great coffees and pastries. You can also grab breakfast or lunch. The place is very clean and the owners are great.

We were fortunate to have a $20 credit from our stay at the McCloud Mercantile Hotel upstairs. My husband ordered one of the omelets and we both noticed how thick and fluffy the omelet was. I had the basic: sausage, hash brown and eggs but with no complaints. We enjoyed our breakfast and looking out the huge windows to Main... More

Organic, GF, and vegetarian options. Plus, the best chai ever! This quaint cafe is tucked back into the Mercantile so don't miss it!

This café is great for a leisure lunch and they were quite busy in the middle of the week. You're still treated well with the usual small town friendliness and the food we ordered which was sandwiches were quite huge and sides all home made goodness. You can not expect fast food here and that is fine with us. They... More

The place is very nice, especially in a place so little. They have a few good options for vegetarians. Try the saute vegetables with potatoes with a side of OJ :-)
