We were fortunate to have a $20 credit from our stay at the McCloud Mercantile Hotel upstairs. My husband ordered one of the omelets and we both noticed how thick and fluffy the omelet was. I had the basic: sausage, hash brown and eggs but with no complaints. We enjoyed our breakfast and looking out the huge windows to Main... More

Organic, GF, and vegetarian options. Plus, the best chai ever! This quaint cafe is tucked back into the Mercantile so don't miss it!

This café is great for a leisure lunch and they were quite busy in the middle of the week. You're still treated well with the usual small town friendliness and the food we ordered which was sandwiches were quite huge and sides all home made goodness. You can not expect fast food here and that is fine with us. They... More

The place is very nice, especially in a place so little. They have a few good options for vegetarians. Try the saute vegetables with potatoes with a side of OJ :-)

Great food & great service & great atmosphere! We were ready for a big, hearty fresh breakfast before our hike and we got it!

One of the only places to eat on Hwy 89 between Nevada and California. They don't have to be good since they have a captive audience. However, I've never been disappointed when I've stopped. Giant sandwiches! Homemade soup. I always get the broccoli salad. It's a nice step back in time. Not a trendy chi chi spot.

Not sure how this is a different place from the White Mountain Cafe, so I will say the same thing: Aubrey and Scott always treat you well and serve a wonderful hot chocolate (with whipped cream). Scott makes the omletes the way we like them, folded with all the incrediants in the middle.

What an awesome find. Slipped in for a great lunch just before they closed. About 10 others were too late, so check their hours. A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting with food worthy of it's surroundings. Very generous portions. Great service. This experience is worth getting off I-5 to savor.
