Great Cuisine

Been here many times and food is always good and at times is phenomenal. For instance I had a Salmon with clams sauce and rice fritter sometime ago and it was memorable, but another time a swordfish with squash caponnata was just ok. However the grilled warm romaine is always superb. Service is... read more

This place is so special. They knocked it right out of the ball park. We had such a good time the first night, we went back the next night as well. We were treated very well and had choice seating, attentive service and incredible food. Bravo, someone in the kitchen really gets it and it shows.

Another local restaurant where we've been many times, including holidays. Love to eat outside when it's warm, and be at the edge of Tomales Bay. A window seat indoors is a good second choice. The food is yummy, and I've had some delicious crab here as well as Louie salad, and tuna melt with good fries. Fun staff, and the... More

Perfect compliment to our stay at Nick's Cove! Wednesday is half price night for wine and they have an ample list to choose from to go with a very respectable menu.

Large Virgin Mary drink (very spicy) served in a major jar was delicious and beer-battered fish was the most moist and fresh I've ever had. Fries were expensive but good (tasted more baked than fried), and salad dressing tended toward the vinegary, but we asked for extra olive oil to balance it out. Great view on a clear January day.... We stopped here on a rainy night just about dusk. They had a Christmas tree and lights out on their pier. It was warm and lovely. The fish and chips were made with local cod and were quite light and tasty. The service was very good. The beer and wine selection was good. I'll come back when I'm in the... More

I don't understand why this place has so much raved reviews. 1. You are highly encouraged to use Valet parking. If you park by the state park next door, the valet will tell you that you might get ticketed...which I think upon observation is untrue. 2. The scenery is great as long as your facing the right direction which is... More

We found this gem when it was first taken over by Pat Kuleto. In fact his boat was moored here when we ate. We were totally enchanted by the gorgeous location and the charm of the whole place, so fitting for the area. Our waiter was adorable and the choice of food were exciting. The quality of the food was... More

We had read about Nick's and love the history dating back to 1930's which is evident the minute you step into the bar loaded with vintage photos, cool rustic decor and a few deers mounted on the wall for good measure. We sat outside on the deck hanging out over the water, ordered the local oysters-yum! some draught beer and... More
