Enormous menu, generous servings, good prices!

This is a great place to stop for lunch in Mariposa. There are a huge number of menu choices, from drinks, to salads, to burgers, to sandwiches, and so on. Newspapers to read. Old LP album covers on the ceiling. Friendly help. Thick REAL milkshakes. Something for everyone.

We pulled into town on a Wednesday, on our way home from visiting the Yosemite area...WOW...what a great find!!! The parking lot was full as was the restaurant with what appeared to be mostly locals and a few travelers. We were greeted and served with a smile and the food was really good! They have a TON of burger options...the... More

Bewildering selection of breakfast specials but once you've figured them out, it's a diner breakfast to remember. Good coffee, thick bacon, pancakes the size of your head with a choice of several syrups, real fresh fruit in the fruit cup, sourdough toast. The ceiling is covered in old album covers from the 70's. The TV is tuned to Fox News... More

Just an ordinary diner, kind of a "greasy spoon" atmosphere. The locals seem to love it. Good prices, good service. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to overlook either.

We just wanted a nice cheap dinner at an authentic American diner, loved this place! We both had burgers and fries and both were delicious!! We topped off with a hot brownie Sunday, wish we knew it would be piled high with cream & cherries as we would have skipped those bits, but ice cream hot fudge sauce and brownie... More

We went in for breakfast (wish we were in town longer to try for a burger later in the day too as had a great menu!). I had the omelet and home fries, and hubby had french toast both of which were plentiful and delicious (despite the obligatory slice of orange that gets added to everything once you hit California!)... When I go to a restaurant with a huge selection it makes me wonder if the food is fresh or frozen? Everything we ordered was over cooked and poorly presented. Sorry.

We had lunch here whilst staying in Mariposa, the place is decorated with LP covers and feels like a proper American diner. The menu is huge, prices are reasonable, food tasted great and the service was good. I can't fault the place and would recommend stopping by if you are passing.
