Really liked the fact that small plate entrees were offered - a 9 piece shrimp cocktail & various large salads to name a few. The décor is very western & "comfortable". Staff is friendly & knowledgeable about the entrees - can make good recommendations.

Congratulations on a job very well done... I have had the pleasure of dining at 1850 twice in the last several months; their food is exceptional, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is perfect. Tonight 1850, along with Prospector's brewery hosted a phenomenal dinner event. The exquisite five course meal was accompanied with beers that matched the flavors... More

We were excited to try this restaurant a second time. My husband and I first dined here this summer. We were happy to discover their quality of food to be consistent considering the seasonal menu change. My husband had the prime rib. I had the lobster special. The genuine hospitality of all we encountered at this special restaurant made for... More

What a nice and quiet place for a dinner or late night sandwich. The service was very good. The menu choices ranged from standard to eclectic. Surely some to appease everyone.

The woman at the front desk of the Miners Inn where we were staying recommended this restaurant. Delicious...the food on its own warrants a visit to this restaurant but what also stood out was the attentiveness and desire to please the diners by the staff. Not over the top fake...but low key sincere. We had artichoke creamed soup, homemade bread,... More

This new restaurant is not on 5th street, but north a few blocks on rt140 near 12th street. The atmosphere is good - we sat in a booth which I always prefer. The service was very good and the owners are a young couple that are very eager to please. I had the trout which I loved. the chicken , burger,... More

Great food, good portions. Great service. We loved our meal here. They also custom make the burgers - so if you want to change anything, it is easily possible (or at least - this is what our waitress said).

Surprisingly good food and choice for a small town restaurant. This was recommended by our hosts at the B&B and also had the best reviews. Good value and service.

2 mins walk from our Lodge we found staff friendly, great choice on menu. Could be more choice on kids menu. The Aloha burger I had was amazing and my daughter had the Thanksgiving burger which was lovely but far too big for a child, she made a good effort! We all enjoyed the food washed down with a Blue... My wife and I had a great day hiking and enjoying the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We stayed in Mariposa that night and used TA to find a good place to eat. We decided on 1850 since it seemed to offer casual dining and good food. I order the grilled salmon, it was fresh tasting, very good, with... More
