We liked all of our dishes bar the special sizzling seafood which consisted mainly of sizzling vegetables and very little seafood. But I suppose we should have expected this in a country town a long way from the sea. Service and other foods was very good and well priced.

The Chinese food here is tasty, fresh and filling, I was a little disappointed that they do not have individual combination meals on the menu, but they were very accommodating when I asked if available. I had the cashew chicken, sweet & sour pork with fried rice. All in all a gret place for Chinese food.

We arrived shortly after opening so we didn't need to book, the service was friendly and quick and while the food was nice, and quite a lot of food per dish, to our Australian tastes it was quite bland, even the so called "spicy" food was not spicy. But it was cheap and filling and as far as I could... More

Or I was just lazy to go farther than walking distance from out hotel. The food was pretty good, but it was way overpriced. Maybe it's the transportation costs? But for a Labor Day weekend, it wasn't busy. I enjoyed the Sesame Chicken and the Shrimp Fried Rice.

Most people visit Mariposa on their way to sites like Yosemite Valley. In case you just want a quick lunch or dinner I would recommend China Station. Right on the main road, it is not in the most scenic area of town (to say the least) however they do have nice decor inside. Food was very good and service was... More

The food was quite sub-par and the service person misrepresented the "heat" of one of the dishes ... we asked if it was spicy and he said "no" which was just plain not true.

During our stay in Mariposa, we ordered twice from China Station as take out to our room! The service was good both times. We stuck to vegetarian choices - pad Thai, vegetable and bean curd curry, rice and the egg soup. All were good and kept us warm on very cold nights.

Most of the clients at this restaurant when we ate there were Oriental, which we took to be a very good sign! The service was polite and attentive, the food was very good and the price was fair. A very enjoyable meal.

We got the red and green sauce dishes. Drank 3 glasses of water to finish half of mine. Took the rest home and made two more meals out of it by adding vegetables and rice to it. Enjoyed it but it was spicy. The Chinese menu items not so spicy. My son had one of those and enjoyed it, he... More
