OK place reasonable food, marginal service

We stopped here after a long day in Yosemite Park hiking. We were tired and hungry. China Station was just fine nothing special and nothing really bad. The Kung-pao chicken was just what my wife wanted and the Pad Thai was also good. We asked for spicy but both dishes needed the help of a little... read more

The staff was not attentive. Served us a very small glass of water..never refilled and not once asked if we needed anything or asked how the food was. One meal was served and 10 minutes later the second meal was served. Food was not that great, and they even added a 15% automatic service charge on the bill for only... More

Title saws it all. Stopped in after a day at Yosemite. Food is good. Service is somewhat slow but place was very busy. Service was pleasant. Nice family option for a relaxed meal after a day in the park. This was a repeat visit and we were glad to see the place is still there. If visiting the area again... More

We were visiting Yosemite National Park and stayed a hotel near this restaurant. The food was ok. Asked for ice water, but served with cold water. No one was asking if you need more water. At the end, there was 15% service charge for two of us. And still asked for tips. Watch out.

China Station is the best Chinese restaurant between Merced and the Yosemite Lodge Food Cafeteria. Now before you go out and make a reservation please read the full review. We are on our way to Yosemite, and after 4 hours of driving, need a place to grab some grub in Mariposa, an hours drive from Yosemite Valley. On the very... More

there was an excellent range to choose from, both Thai and Chinese food with the emphasis on Chinese. There are good options for vegetarians but labeling could be improved. My son is allergic to wheat, nut, lactose and egg so this is relevant to me.

We liked all of our dishes bar the special sizzling seafood which consisted mainly of sizzling vegetables and very little seafood. But I suppose we should have expected this in a country town a long way from the sea. Service and other foods was very good and well priced.

The Chinese food here is tasty, fresh and filling, I was a little disappointed that they do not have individual combination meals on the menu, but they were very accommodating when I asked if available. I had the cashew chicken, sweet & sour pork with fried rice. All in all a gret place for Chinese food.

We arrived shortly after opening so we didn't need to book, the service was friendly and quick and while the food was nice, and quite a lot of food per dish, to our Australian tastes it was quite bland, even the so called "spicy" food was not spicy. But it was cheap and filling and as far as I could... More

Or I was just lazy to go farther than walking distance from out hotel. The food was pretty good, but it was way overpriced. Maybe it's the transportation costs? But for a Labor Day weekend, it wasn't busy. I enjoyed the Sesame Chicken and the Shrimp Fried Rice.
