Good food, ok service

We both had their spinach and mushroom lasagna special followed by a blackberry pie. The lasagna was excellent. The pie was good; the crust was a little crunchy from the sugar. They seemed a little understaffed, though. Prices were fair.

LOVE this place. This was my third trip to Yosemite and each time I've gone to the park I have breakfast every morning at Sugar Pine Cafe. The classic diner decor, thick pastries in glass domes and displays, and retro music in the mornings give the place an authentic "good ol' days" diner ambiance. The food is fantastic and especially... More

Great American breakfasts ! Lovely chatty and friendly staff even on a very busy morning. Reasonbly priced too. Breakfast set us up for the day so never needed a lunch break in YP.

Typical american diner with lovely servers (especially Debbie!) and fabulous food. They have different specials each day and we went back every day for breakfast. Good choice for vegetarians and they also do amazing scones - raspberry and white chocolate were awesome! Loved it there.

True classic, small town cafe. Good food. Good service. It was busy but it wasn't just tourists, but locals too - which always says a lot to me. Great stop on the way to Yosemite.

We called into Sugar Pine Cafe for breakfast, I opted for the Chocolate Chip pancakes - amazing. The cafe is immaculate and the staff are fantastic, an American Dinner at its very best, well worth calling in, you won't be sorry!

This American-style cafe has nightly specials that are very good. We had the chicken tostada which was excellent. Although it was not especially busy, it did take a while to get our dinners, but it was worth the wait. Reasonable prices.

This was one of the best breakfasts on our 3 week tour of California. A very busy little cafe but the staff were friendly and the service good. I had the oatmeal and didn't need to eat again till dinner. A great stop for breakfast as you're leaving Yosemite to carry on your tour

We ate breakfast here this morning! This place is very popular. At some points, people had to wait for customers to finish and leave in order to be seated. Every table was taken! As soon as a table was cleared and cleaned, it was filled! The wait staff was running, but were friendly and attentive even so! We each had... More

We stopped in this restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning. By 9 a.m. they were out of a few items. The food was very good though. They do all of their own baking and you could tell. I had a sticky bun and it was delicious.
