Cute Place In A Cute Town With Nice Menu

The menu had a little more than standard diner fare and I enjoyed my breakfast. They were surprisingly busy so maybe that accounts for the lack of friendliness. Stopped in for a tea and scone. Enjoyed the decor and friendly service. The Maple Scone was enjoyable and the tea hot, so we were happy.

Small diner, full of atmosphere. If you can wait, the wait is worth it! Most delicious pancakes we have ever had! Seriously! Good breakfast. Busy, busy place. Highly recommend it!

This was the first time I had been back to the Sugar Pine in 40 years. Yep, this diner is at least 50 years old and I wanted to see how it was. Well it looked about the same as I remember it including the big booths with leatherette! But how was the food? I can tell you the burger... More

We were disappointed by our food. Burger was tiny. Coffee cream was curttled, soup flavor was out of balance, half sandwich was tiny

I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and they were mouth watering! I absolutely loved this place! It feels like you walk back in time when you walk in. Definitely a nice little spot to enjoy breakfast!

Stopped for afternoon coffee on a lazy day before setting off on the next leg of our journey round CA. Delicious cakes, and the rest of the menu looked fantastic!

We stayed a number of days in Mariposa and this, without question, was our favourite place to eat. Friendly and attentive staff, friendly locals happy to chat with the tourists. Food was served quickly and had decent size portions, not too large for our English appetites!, definitely a place to revisit and relax in.

Good coffee and you can tell they use good ingredients for their dishes, the bacon in the omelet was amazing. Will be back.
