We ate a big breakfast here before a full day of hiking in Yosemite and were happy to have fueled up! Although it was relatively busy on a Saturday morning, service was friendly and fast. The egg scramble was delicious and came with toast and cheese grits. We also got the pancake and bacon combo which was a ton of... More

If you want an excellent breakfast, come here, although there may be many before you. There always seems to be a line in the morning. Eggs, omelets, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy--they're all good here. For lunch they serve an excellent chef's salad, good veggies and plenty of them. It's a comfortable coffee house in the morning.

Sugarpine rocks, what great breakfasts I have had at this place! Friendly staff with quick service and great food. Just wish the coffee was better or that espresso was offered

The locals come to Sugar Pine Cafe for the food and service. It is especially popular for breakfast. This restaurant is not a chain and the food is prepared fresh.

The food here is very good with local ingredients. The wait was decent since the space is very small. The portions are somewhat small for the prices IMO, but very good, so somewhat worth it. Directly next to a bunch of interesting antique/local stores to browse.

Mom and pop classic cafe where we ate with half the population of Mariposa! Very busy place yet we got quick service and good food. Will be a breakfast (or lunch) stop next time we are in town. One could get well stuffed there with all the great things to try.

Whenever I dine out I am looking for a place that feeds my body and spirit. This fit the bills! The food was creative, yet classic. Often I find myself judging a place by the burger and this was the best I could have desired. Perfectly cooked, with blue cheese...loved it! The local flavor was wonderful as characters came in... We were weary after a long drive up the Central Valley to Mariposa on the way to Yosemite National Park. The Sugar Pine food was good, served quickly, and the staff were nice. What more would you want. Highly recommended.

i have eaten both breakfast and lunch at Sugar Pine and both were very good with a good portion. Oh, and if your up to it, the root beer float hit the spot too. The service was ok with the waitress looking lost and forgetful.
