The food is consistent, and quite good. I have had the chicken tostada the last few times and it's just the right size and flavors for me. I have had full dinners and the beans and rice are good, but it's too much food! Chips and salsa are great...and ask for the cabbage salsa.

Right on the road to Yosemite,we stopped here for dinner. The food was delicious. The chili rellanoes and the pork in chili verde were both great dinner choices. The waitress was lovely and provided good service.

The dinners burritos were OK but nothing out of the ordinary. But then, except for Rick Bayless, most Mexican restaurants are average in my book. We stopped mainly because we thought Mexican would be a change of pace.

The restaurant does not look of much from the outside but it is very nice inside and you get the authentic feeling of Mexico. I ordered the combination platter and a local beer. The portion was overwhelming and good, but the food needed just a bit more taste - it did not taste much. Even though the taste could have... More

The restaurant is convenient and within walking distance to most hotels just along the main road. We ordered a couple of beers (only bottle) but good selection and cold. The service was very good and the food was average-good. Chips/salsa were plentiful and tasty and the prices were reasonable (~$10/most meals). I'd definately eat here again if I was in... More

We were very happy with dinner here. Food was great, the wait staff were friendly, made good suggestions and gave us a sample of a new salsa there were trying. Everyone, from kids to adults enjoyed their meals. Prices were average. Would definitely recommend and would go back if we are in the area again.

We got out of Yosemite late and weren't sure what dinner options we'd have when we got back to Mariposa. Salvador's provided tasty food and good service at a good price. (No hard liquor license)

Was visiting Yosemite for a few days and decided to stay in Mariposa. Looked for dinner options and we decided to try Salvador's. We really liked the food! This was definitely a family run business and the food was amazing, especially if you like spicy, they have options for those more adventurous than me.
