Mountain Gem!

Miners Roadhouse- formerly The Miners Inn- has been around for a long time. Recently we found ourselves with some time to kill and decided to revisit the Miners for breakfast. Good food and great service would normally rate this a high 3 star, but a recent remodel bumps it up a notch! Nice... read more

Not sure how it was? Our family did not get seated. The hostess walked by and said she would be right with us. Couple minutes passed and she walked by again like she was on a mission. Weird thing was there were only 3 tables occupied and it didn't look like they had their food yet. That was our sign... More

Good food, good service, but like everthing else in this town... ridiculously expensive. We ate there a couple times because it was close to our hotel. There is a bar attached that has karaoke, and that was fun.

Burgers were great, mac & cheese with chicken was yummy. Desserts were good. Service was a bit slow. It was a Sunday night and I really think they might have been a bit under-staffed because they were quite busy. Otherwise good food at reasonable prices.

We arrived late for our two night stay at Miner's Inn and decided to brave the in-house restaurant rather than go out again. Despite the rather gloomy interior and lack of customers - only one other couple at 19.30 we were pleasantly surprised by the food and the general atmosphere. The delightful waitress suggested a half nacho plate as a... More

We stopped after a long day of sightseeing. Really enjoyed their clam chowder soup and salad bar. Good service and relaxing.

Just had our best meal in 3 weeks all around US. I had Cajun burger my wife Mediterranean chicken. Both excellent and with a coke and beer under $40. I paid over $8 for a beer in San Fransisco. If you want fine dining at $50 a head don't come here. If you want classic food cooked well at value... More

The food was formulaic. My fish was terribly unfresh, and when we asked about it we learnt that it had been thawed and then left too long. Refund - you must be joking! Pleasant serving people.
