We really wanted to like this place, it has a lot of old well established quaint local owned business charm that usually characterize a place you can get a good meal. While staying at the Miner's Inn Motel, this was the closest option for food. We got in early at 5pm and so it was quiet and only started filling with a few other parties of older people – early bird special sort of thing. The décor is a little older/traditional and a few of the booths had rips in the... More

They used to have a senior menu that I enjoyed. The new menu is more compact but has some nice choices. I had the blackened chicken salad and it was quite good. The chicken had a great flavor and the combo of tomato and olives on lettuce was just right. Got the bleu cheese crumbles on the side and had... More

The rooms are big and clean and the pool is nice. Booked this motel because of the view over either the city or the hills and the receptionist promised us a great view - we even waited longer when checking in just to get a great view; but the view was a joke - could see nothing but the parking... Had both dinner and brunch here because it was so easy, roomy and good service. I'll stop by again for any future meals.

Found the Miners 140 Roadhouse on our way from Yosemite to San Francisco. Best breakfast of our two week touring holiday, and we love breakfast. Fast, efficient, friendly and the food was plentiful and tasty. You know it's good when your surrounded by locals.

We were staying at the associated Motel, and this was a choice based on convenience. However, we were glad we ate here. We each had a Cobb salad, which was enormous, with lots of variety and everything really fresh. Good value for money. The service was pleasant and helpful, and it was spotless in the restaurant. We enjoyed watching the... More

We ate one night at the Miner's Inn restaurant. After a long day exploring Yosemite National Park, we thought we would try this restaurant at the end of Mariposa's main street. We thought it might be a dinner type of restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised. I got chicken piccata and it was as good as any I have ever... More

We stopped at the Miner's Inn on our way back from Tuolumne Meadows to Oakhurst. The restaurant has a nice view of the north part of Mariposa's main street. The food was good and the waitress was nice.
