My boyfriend and I went there one night while on vacation. The service was phenomenal, the food portions were huge, walking distance to the beach. We watched the sunset while waiting for our table, and also got some free garlic rolls (to die for). At 8pm, we were all given paper with song lyrics on them and sung "thats amore".... More

What a bustling, fabulous, friendly and busy place for Great Italian food. Order the Eggplant lasagana, out of this world. The bartender made a Negroni, and it was terrific. A must for lunch or dinner. I will return again for another meal when in the area.

Had a magical night on the patio several years ago with our kids and family friends. When we returned last week the experience was just as great. The complimentary garlic rolls melt in your mouth, the caprese salad with whipped mozzarella was phenomenal. All the entrees were solid Italian fare, and the friendly service, energy and atmosphere make it a... More

While in town for a family wedding, we experienced the C&O Trattoria in Marina del Rey. The first time there, we ate at another place on the same street (mistake), but walked down to the trattoria for dessert. The ambiance at the outdoor patio was magical with the strings of white lights overhead to the paintings on the building to... More

Had a nice evening here and enjoyed the food. The menu was extensive and varied. The service was pretty good despite the waiter, Steve, calling the guys at the table "pal" in a New York accent. Just a little weird. Also got the feeling that we were the lucky ones to have him serving us. The honor system wine did... More

I love this restaurant! The food is excellent, the patio dining is wonderful on a cool California night and the service is always great! Recently dined there with my son and his girlfriend. We had a wonderful evening. My angel hair pasta was tasty and exactly as I ordered (I am a vegan, so a few modifications were necessary), the... More

During a recent trip to LA we had breakfast at C&O and it was wonderful. They have a very comprehensive menu (unexpected for an Italian restaurant) and the food and service were great. Unfortunately we never made it for dinner, but stopped by to check out the dinner menu one afternoon and were pleased to be given one of their... More

My first visit to this restaurant in 2010 was so good that on my return to LA in 2012 (for 1 night) we made the extra effort to go to this restaurant because it was just that good. The food is amazing, to a very high quality with a very varied range and the portions are very large, i am... More

As an Italian, it's tough to eat Italian food at restaurants, especially in touristy areas. That said, C&O was ok, I ended up with the Linguini di Mare (hey, we're by a beach right?) and it was pretty solid, though not spicy. The garlic buns they brought out kept coming until we asked them to stop - they were great,... More

Made the trek from LAX area to eat here based on a desire for a reasonably priced Italian meal close to us with a good TA rating. Interestingly, using the app there was a picture of the restaurant which was not accurate. Was expecting a nicer place so was surprised when we got there. Atmosphere was OK, but probably appropriate... More
