We are local and Indian, and this is our favorite Indian restaurant. The food is fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the ginger lamb chops. They are tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious. Food is good, pretty consistent. The one thing I love about Akbar is it's the only place in LA that boasts about spicy food and actually backs it up. You can order your food spicy as hell here (no pun intended). more

We were in Marina del Rey last year and was referred to Akbar's by a friend who lived local. The service was great, as was the food.
