Variety and view

We have been here two times. Both times were great. Service was good. The menu has a large variety which is nice for picky eaters. The guacamole and shrimp app is excellent. I would definitely recommend. We sat outside which has a good view of the marina. Casual atmosphere with good food all around.

Visited this restaurant twice whilst staying in the area. Both times the food was outstanding and as usual in the USA - large portions. We sat outside, which was a covered area and was very pretty with lights in the plans (a little difficult to read the menu when it got a bit darker). Cocktails were delicious. Can highly recommend... Very good quality food. I had for starters the French onion soup, and it was delicious and all my family enjoyed it too. Our waiter Sam was superb, very caring and always seeing if we wanted more or if he could help us out. The one thing was that the food was very big portions, that's a good thing if... More

The food was average. The summer veggies were not appealing (broccoli/carrots) and nothing to substitute. The server was pleasant enough but the restaurant was understaffed and he was practically running from table to table.

Good but not great. Ambience was crowded and noisy. Decent seafood. So a reasonable place. But in L.A. "good" and "reasonable" doesn't really cut it, does it?

This is a marina view restaurant which unlike its seafaring neighbor restaurants has a large Italian menu. The photographs give you a clear impression of the place - you want seating with a view. We actually found the seafood items on the menu better than the Italian choices, which were massive in quantity but average in quality. Friends who live... More

I have enjoyed Tony P's on many occasions. Where you sit will determine some of your experience. The Tavern has a wall of screens for sports viewing and has a fun casual decor. You can also choose to dine in the dining room or deck area overlooking the boats in the Marina. We often get the BBQ but we have... More

We ordered the halibut and fresh veggies and it was quite good. The other meals ordered were average. The service was spotty as the waitperson seemed overloaded with tables (which is a manager's issue) but friendly. The location is ideal - with tables facing the famous marina! All in all, I would probably go again for a lunch or quick... More

We walked to this restaurant from our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn, Marina del Rey. I particularly enjoy walking along marinas. We wouldn't have known about this route without the recommendation of the receptionist at our hotel. The clam chowder was excellent. So was Tony P's salad, except that it had a bit too much dressing. The salmon and shrimps... More

Tony P's has good food for a reasonable price, especially for a restaurant along Admiralty Way. There is a lot of choices on the menu that will satisfy a big party. The pizzas are quite good and very inexpensive. Fish dishes are prepared well, however the vegetables could be prepared a little better. Choose a table out on the covered... More
