Staying at the Sanctuary Beach hotel there's only ONE option if you don't want to drive so we gave it a try. Drinks were good and reasonably priced but the rib-eye was thin and tasteless, the wife had the tuna which was just OK. Service is good. We'll be taking the 10 mile trip into Monterey tonight

Food can be very good - some items more so than others. A few are unique to our area ad the sushi staff are very experienced and knowledgable about their craft. However, it really depends on who your server is, their mood, and whether they wanted to work that shift - it can really affect your whole experience so somtimes... More

Nice restaurant and bar. Outdoor seating with fire pits and couches. You can see the Sanctuary Pool from the deck, and off toward the ocean.

Choose Kula Ranch for a 76th birthday party. Very disappointed in the service and food. We were there 2 1/2 hours and rarely saw our waiter. We had to track him down to get refills on our drinks. After dinner had to find someone and ask them to clear our table so we could serve the cake we brought. The... More

Upon entering the restaurant, there was no one there to greet us. Turns out that only one person was working and she was escorting another party to their table. Thus, when other people came in, there was no one there. That seemed like less than optimal service and should have been a warning. We were asked if we wanted a... More

Loved the $4 drinks at happy hour 3-6:30pm and the amazing Hawaiian Nachos (appetizers $2) Dinner was also good in the restaurant.

This restaurant is at the Sanctuary Beach Resort. Very high energy. Great bar with lots of TVs. Service was very good. I had prime rib which was not the best I've ever had, but it sufficed. My wife had calamari for an appetizer and sandabs. Calimari was enough for dinner. She liked both.

They had happy hour as long as sports games were on the many TV's. Food was good and reasonably priced. When Giants won the series, the manager bought everyone a drink. Great patio and very friendly staff.

We have enjoyed this restaurant many times but in the past two years things have changed. I booked a dinner party there in Dec. Several things either went wrong or did not get the attention needed. After 1 month the owner did refund a small portion of the bill but his attitude was very distracted. He doesn't go the extra... More

We had a room at the Sanctuary and ordered room service. We both were disappointed in the food. I had a ribeye and my husband had the primerib, the beef quality was not up to snuff.
