Eat without leaving the property!

The food was actually far better than expected. Drinks not so much and service was definitely slow. However, it was great to buzz over on our little golf cart and not have to leave the property after a few drinks (and a shot with the friendly bartender).

When you are beside the fields where the lettuces are grown, you want fresh salad and wonderful simple dressings--not here. Even the artichoke was just okay but very oily and drippy with vinegar. The wait staff was friendly and attentive but would not return.

Food was ok, the bartender was more interested in socializing with co-workers then taking orders. We would have ordered more if she would have only looked our way. Sad.

I went here both nights I stay at the resort. I sat at the bar, since I was traveling solo. The bartender was engaging, knowledgable of the area (she was a local) and the sushi was good. The second night I was in she remembered the wine I liked and was equally engaging. I had a nice conversation with a... More

The sushi we had for lunch was great! The mahi mahi was AMAZING! Highly suggest this restaurant. They have eating inside or outside with a wonderful fire pit.

3 of us decided that we wanted something to eat, after spending a good share of the day flying to SJC and then driving to Marina, but to early to eat a big meal. We found that Happy Hour has $2.00 each for hors de over's and cheap drinks. What a pleasant surprise. I had Hawaiian nachos, that has chicken... More

Since we were staying at Sanctuary Resort and Spa, and this is the only on-site option, we had lunch, dinner and drinks here, we were not impressed with the food. Seems to be very popular; particularly Saturday night. Sliders were good but the club sandwich was odd with cheddar cheese--didn't work. The roasted pork was just ok. Service was nice... More

We stayed at The Sanctuary and went to Kula’s on the property for happy hour. Over the years, this has been many different restaurants and Kula’s is by far the best incarnation. We sat in the bar and where we created our own platter with $2.00 items including kaulua pig sliders and quesadillas. A young man with a ukulele went... More

We intended to eat dinner in the restaurant while staying at the adjacent Sanctuary Beach Resort, but so enjoyed the happy hour specials and dining outside at one of the firepit tables we ate their twice instead! The decor is kind of cowboy tiki, if you can imagine that. We enjoyed $3 Kona Longboard drafts and mai tais and it... More

We stayed at Sanctuary Beach Resort and loved it. this is their restaurant, but I thought it was disappointing in comparison to the resort. I really think they need to upgrade the restaurant to match the level of the resort. We were expecting fine dining at this resort, and this did not meet our expectations.
