Great Mexican Food

This is not your typical chain food Mexican food where you order 4 things and still want more. One item is a whole meal and quite a good and filling one at that. The tacos though are small and awesome. Food is hot and fresh. We've been at least once a week since we found this place.

La Costa has been one of my favorite walk up taquerias in Manteca since the first time I tried their food. Be aware: it is CASH only. There is a small seating area inside (it used to be a hamburger stand) and a dozen or so large tables on the completely covered patio. The music can be loud and the... More

The music was very loud but around the corner of the building the sound was cut in half, No speakers. There was inside sitting but we chose to sit outside. There was no enchiladas on the menu so I opted for the shredded pork burrito. It was big and thick. I thought it looked a bit watery but it was... More

This Mexican taqueria is the best one in town. It's not typical with chips and salsa and sit down and be waited on. This place is authentic! It's menu is painted. It has outside benches and a few tables inside. CASH ONLY!!! Don't let that stop you. It's worth it! Their nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tostadas are all 100%... More

A terrific experience! The portion sizes were large and the quality was excellent! The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. A great casual Mexican dining experience!

This is a great taqueria that always pleases the palate. Huge burritos, yummy tacos and even seafood. There is outdoor and indoor eating and always kickin' Mexican music.

I recommended la costa to my girlfriend and brought her there for her first time she loved the tostada and I got the Super burrito which was good to the last bite. Just wished it was open a little bit later.

This place is not far from my work, so I come here when I want some quick Mexican at a reasonable price. I've had mainly just their burritos and they are always tasty. Be sure to bring cash because that's all they take. I think they would increase their business if they started taking plastic as I for one simply... More

La Costa has the best tacos and burritos (taco truck style)! They have a simple menu and offer other items like quesadillas, tortas, with your choice of meat, and much more like seafood items too. We get the carne asada tacos or burritos with green sauce and everything on it (sour cream, onions & cilantro). The covered outdoor seating with... More
