Great place to chill

Spent my first afternoon in LA here. The first thing that caught my eye was the impressive wine list, with plenty of the local highlights. This contemporary style Greek restaurant serves fantastic favorable contemporary Greek appetizers, great tasty dishes(try filet minion or Veal chop)which goes great with(Petros Syrah red wine)and home made Greek desserts(try Bougatsa).

Love sitting outside on a warm summers evening! Food is so yummy too ;-). Try their salmon dinner and delicious hummus platter with something off the extensive wine list! You'll be glad you did!

5 of us ate family style sharing 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. There was plenty of food to share. I can't pick a favorite-it was all delicious. Definitely try the meatballs. The potato garlic dip was also "to die for"!

The sea bass and salmon were outstanding. The spinach risotto is terrific. The drinks are good. If you like martinis, ask for the stuffed olives (feta cheese)...yummy. The only real downside is the prices are extremely high, even for Manhattan Beach. Not sure I would be in a rush to return as there are many excellent choices in the area.

The food had zip without too much heat. A very creative interpretation of Greek salad with avocado slices, celery, wilted onions, cucumbers and spices (oregano!), but no lettuce. Great. A Greek grilled sea bass with grilled vegetables and salad was simple in the best way -- light with subtle oregano based flavoring that kept it far from bland. The service... More

I just met my sister and her family here for dinner on Friday night. What an excellent find! This is a fresh and delightful take on Greek cuisine and we're Greek so we are hard to please! Get the dip sampler (truly the best Tzatziki I've had) and the Tiropita were great. My husband and I had the rack of... More

We often go to this Manhattan Beach restaurant when visiting. Eight of us sat outside and enjoyed a long dinner meal with traditional Greek soup, appetizers, and entrees. Kids played in plaza area so we could keep an eye on them. Great time for all.

Absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. You can tell that the owner takes pride in his foods - simple ingredients and wholesome food. My favorite item off the menu is the Grilled Octopus with Beets! The plate is beautiful and full of color! The entree portion is always favorable and the food quality never suffers.

Petrie is a great Greek restaurant at Metlox in Manhattan Beach. They have very fresh fish selections, Greek specialties, along with other great meat and seafood and pasta. My wife loves their lemon soup. Prices are fairly high, but I've always had great service, quality food, and nice experiences. The bar has good drinks, and they have a good wine... More
