Its "tight" bar seating in this little dive taco shack. The chips and salsa are good and the burritos are typical baja style for the area. Its good enough for a stop but not a destination.

After eating at chains around the LA area, I went back to relying on google and yelp reviews. This place came in at the top and was open late. Small, friendly, hole-in-the-wall with excellent food, value and ambience. Take-out or limited bar stool seating. I loved it. Will definitely go back! I wish I could have had everything on the... Stopped by for a quick bite on the way to lax. This isn't your typical Boring Mexican food chain it's homemade, authentic and delicious. Inside there are only perhaps 15 stools at the counter and window. The place is small but has a great beach mex feel.. Highly recommend the Deluxe Burrito...the sauce is great.

I don't know what happened to this place, but the meal we had there was terrible. The taco itself was burned, as was the rice. The hamburger wasn't season but was litterally dripping with grease. The refried beans were watery and they were out of guacamole. There was trash on the floor and the fan vent was covered with black... More

This is by far the best and most authentic Mexican food we have had! Definitely will return! The jr deluxe burrito was delish. I recommend sharing it with someone because of the size. They're guacamole was also wonderful!

Good stuff! We sat at the bar with our kids and had a great dinner. Kids had taquitos and loved them. Wife had tacos that were great and I had steak chili verde which was very tasty. Everything was fresh and excellent. In an otherwise expensive area, this is the best value you'll find for really good Mexican food.

We tried this Mexican takeaway after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. It really didn't disappoint; very reasonable in an upscale area and huge portions of our Mexican favourites. Would disagree with previous reviewer in terms of sloppiness....this is not Chevys! The look and taste of all our meals reminded my wife and I of our many travels south of the... More

I had got off a long flight from London UK and I needed some real Mexican food. El Tarasco was recommended by the receptionist at our hotel so we drove down and I was immediately impressed by the informal "beach shack" feel. There is seating for around 15 people along the service counter and by the windows. There is a... More

We got food from this hole in the wall and took it back to our nearby hotel.zthe dishes were extremely tasty even though they looked a tad sloppy.if you are in the area try the steak tostado.Quite a feast and very reasonably priced.

We went here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. We stopped in before a bike ride along the beach. My wife had the enchiladas. I had the chicken fajitas. Both were large servings. Great value for your money. Very tasty dishes and prepared to order. The place is small with limited seating but we had no problem getting... More
