There are lots of places to eat and drink all around the beach cities in LA..This night we decided to go to the long time been there The Kettle. We were seated in the outside dining which lines the exterior of the building of this corner location. Good place to people watch. Although very busy, we were served quickly, enjoying... More

Its an overrated Dennys type place with a different name. Its always crowded due to the tourism and thats about what it is. A tourist trap by the pier that sometimes could be your only hope as a sober up moment as the bars close. ::tip:: go for the breakfast foods over the dinner items.

Great start to our trip. Lovely location just off Manhattan Beach. Staff where friendly, the place was clean and fresh and the food was great. Fresh coffee and a breakfast burrito with black beans, breakfast potatoes and a sprinkling of tobasco sauce really got my day off to a good start.

The Kettle was my favorite restaurant on a trip to LA. The food was so fresh and good. I was happily surprised that I had enough on my plate to take leftovers back to the hotel. Our waitress was really nice.

We ventured out from our Resort for a little shopping and lunch, Manhattan Beach was recommended. Although we found the shopping very limited, and closed store fronts, we did find The Kettle. We sat on an outside porch and enjoyed the many people who were walking by. The service was prompt and the food good. I would say that this... More

First, I've been a Kettle regular actually now for decades, off and on. I've been at all times of the day or night, sat outside and in, and many times at the counter. I've watched the passing parade of humanity and struck many a conversation with strangers, even at 2 in the morning. So it holds a soft spot in... More

I had fried chicken and it was good, not great...but I could have eaten a pan ful of the honey bran muffin and the mashed potatoes were amazing. When I couldn't decide on a bread the waiter said he would decide for me! And here came the muffen...loved it and him:o)
