We walk here and enjoy the salads, fish..kids love it.. I do hate the crowds so we try and pick off times as its right by the pier so it gets mobbed and I don't like sitting upstairs.. Loud so if that's not your thing ..U won't like it.. Service can be great or non existent ..on the pricier side... More

We walked up from the beach and saw this little gem while on a 7 hour stopover at LAX. We were seated and quickly got our meal and a beer, as we were on a tight timeline. We sat on the covered patio, and people watched in the neighbourhood. There were many great choices on the menu, but I ordered... More

My husband and I were riding bikes from Santa Monica to Manhattan Beach. We stopped to get some lunch. I quickly made a reservation on OpenTable and I'm thankful we did. About five minutes after we arrived, there was a long wait. We were promptly sat in their indoor/outdoor space. A large menu provided several options. I opted for the... More

I was in L.A for a very short time on business and decided to hit up Manhattan Beach to take in the sights and was very lucky to ask an employee at Sketcher's where to get some great seafood and without skipping a beat she referred us to Rock'N Fish. Prices are anywhere from $20-$50 USD, but the plating, freshness,... More

We sat outside at this charming restaurant. The service was excellent and the menu allowed for many choices, many fish options. I ordered fish and chips which were excellent and my grandson ordered clam chowder. Being from New England I was not sure about ordering clam chowder in California....to my amazement it was superb.....one of the best I have eaten.... More

My first time in Manhattan Beach and Rock'N Fish stood out from other local eateries with a great looking fish menu. Once inside we chose a beer and got down to considering our options. Fanny Bay oysters were delicious, but watch out for the horseradish which is seriously hot! My friend chose a calamari starter which was huge, and jumbo... More

I'm not confident when dining solo but saw a spare place by the patio and dived in. Had a great meal, Salmon Caesar Salad with a glass of Prosecco. Service was efficient but it was a bit early so it was quiet. Big portions and well presented. I ordered the crème brûlée and there was more than enough for two.... More

I have eaten at Rock'N Fish frequently over the past 15 years or so, and I've never had a bad meal. I will admit that I often order the large Cobb Salad, which is different than what most people order, but I have tasted almost everything on the menu, and you can't go wrong. The fish is always cooked perfectly,... More

Stayed in Manhattan Beach on business and wandered the boardwalk to this place. 45 min wait on a Thursday night, they call your cell when a table is available. A tiny table. I'm talking 3'x2' tiny, 5 large humans 3 sitting upon poorly padded bar stools. My butt totally lost circulation. LOUD! Could barely hear the guy next to me,... More
