My family and I ran down to California for a couple days. Not really knowing the area came across Uncle Bill's ... My wife and son are die hard breakfast peeps. They can eat breakfast anytime of the day. Me not so much, though since we were on vacation I figured this place served everything so it was worth a... More

Cozy pancake place! Been here several times and never disappointed when I leave. This time I ordered waffles, instead of pancakes. They were delish! Not as big and fluffy as a Belgium waffle, but the taste and texture were really spot on. I also ordered a hot chocolate. It was the best!! Topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Perfect... More

I am finishing up a cross country roadtrip and wanted to sleep in, but was still in a breakfast mood. Then I stumbled upon Uncle Bill's, which is the best breakfast spot I have found anywhere I have gone from coast to coast. UB's is a great little spot right up from the beach and serves breakfast all day long.... More

Uncle Bills is a very good breakfast. Our party had chocolate chip pancakes & scrambled eggs, sourdough French toast, Cinnamon Raisin waffles, banana but pancakes, and corned beef hash and fried eggs. There was issue with an overcooked waffle but it was quickly rectified. The corned beef hash was excellent as were the hash browns. The service was quick and... More

This place is a couple of steps near the water! Lots of people there to eat. Food is good & at great price. Only default, servers are a bit slow since there's lots of customers

On our way driving the coast south from Santa Monica someone recommended we stop for breakfast at Uncle Bill's. It was great! We arrived by 9:00 and as we were told, by 9:30 lineups were quite long. Great breakfast menu covering all the basics - eggs, omelettes, waffles, pancakes and more. My bacon and cheese omelette was as good as... More

This little pancake house 2 blocks off the ocean is a fantastic little find. We had breakfast there after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. My wife had banana nut pancakes and I had a cheese, onion, and mushroom omelet. Mine came with 2 pancakes and potatoes as well. The food was excellent and very reasonable pricewise for the LA... We had breakfast at Uncle Bill's on a Thursday. It was full but we managed to get an indoor table quickly. Staff was friendly and food was tasty. Atmosphere appropriately beach like, casual and easy going. Their omelets and hashbrowns were good.

I can't seem to show up for breakfast on time but the time waiting to be seated is a welcomed time to just chill, take in the beach air and sun, and smile! One block from the beach and be sure to request an outside table to feel the vibe of the day. It is that magical moment when you... More
