Sunday breakfast hit

What a quaint, no frills breakfast place in a gorgeous LA beach town. Waited 45 minutes for a table on Sunday morning, but very much worth the wait. Pancakes were soft, fluffy and super tasty.

This is a "must do" in Manhattan Beach. The food is great and the beach / village atmosphere makes it a wonderful experience. Laid back, relaxing and fun. Menu is creative. Preparation and service are very good. Crowd is also fun. Stop for breakfast when you are in the area.

Recently visited for breakfast. Pancakes was good, but the hash was amazing! Lovely little place. Great service.

Great location and certainly a place that the locals come to in droves. Wide variety of food available. Service and food was good. If you can get an outside table there is an excellent view of the beach. Because the place is so popular with locals you will find that there is a 10 to 20 minute wait, whIch can... More

I flew in pretty early into LA and was staying about 20 min from the Manhattan Beach. My friends and I decided to try this place after all the great reviews and pictures we'd seen. They did not disappoint! The pancakes were huge and delicious. We were able to see the beach and after breakfast we walked down to pier.... More

Uncle Bills is one of our favorites for Saturday morning breakfast. if you want to feel like a local and not a tourist. This is where we go. Plan on 30-40 minute wait. You can see the ocean, or read a newspaper, or just people watch. have fun

I have been coming to Uncle Bills for almost 30 years, and the quality and taste is still there. This is my favorite place for breakfast. 2 blocks from the beach, nice view from the outside patio. The portions are big, and also tasty. Good selection. Only opened for breakfast and lunch, but worth a drive if your in mb.... More

I had the best pancakes ever... Topped up with some fresh strawberries and cream. My husband had some eggs with hash browns and sausage which was also delicious. Very friendly and fast service and reasonable prices. One thing to watch though... Huge portions, so make sure you go there with big appetite or ask them to make a smaller portion.... More
