Step inside Il Fornaio and take a culinary journey through Italy. Early mornings bring rustic, crisp crusted bread hot from the oven accompanied by the scent of fresh brewed espresso. During lunch and dinner hours, pastas and flavorful sauces simmer while meats and vegetables roast over hot coals. Bottles of wine from small, regional wineries are uncorked to complement the dishes, which have been crafted in the custom of Italy's chefs, bakers and homemakers. Il Fornaio means "the Baker" in Italian. This award-winning restaurant offers an authentic and unique Italian dining experience. Specialties include wood-fired rotisserie and grilled meats, poultry and game; housemade pastas; pizzas from an oak wood burning oven; fresh salads and housemade soups; a wide variety of desserts; and fresh baked bread made daily from scratch. Winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2007.

Always great!

The food is always fantastic! The only issue I have is that they keep taking my favorites off the menu. If a restaurant has something I really like, I go back to get the same thing all the time. As a frequent business traveler to the area, this Il Fornaio is consistently impressive in its menu excellence, wine choices, food quality and service. I've dined here over 15 times in the last year and thoroughly enjoyed every single meal.

We dined here on Father's Day. The restaurant was full but not overcrowded like most places on a holiday. The food was very good and everything came out hot and in a timely manner. The service was not so good we had to find the waiter to get drinks ect. but considering it was a holiday I'll let that slide... More

The food and service was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the 3 course taste of campanina. The portions were just right for a leisurely comfortable dining experience.

We've been to Il Fornaio numerous times and have ever been disappointed in the meal. The service is excellent! It is a perfect spot to dine and carry on conversations. It is one of our favorite spots to dine!

Creative and delicious Italian cuisine.wonderful starter breads. I enjoyed a salmon and spinach salad with pomegranate ice tea. Others were pleased with their pasta selections. Tables were spaced well to allow for conversations. Wait staff very attentive. I learned that the menu periodically changes to keep repeat diners interested.

Dined in this restaurant at around 4pm. Probably only 2-3 tables were occupied. After taking our orders it took sometime for it to be served and then the server disappeared. Bread was cold and so were the other orders. Grigliata di pesce misto and cristina pizza was my order.

The room is pretty with enough space between tables for a reasonable conversation. The wait staff is helpful. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass and the food is above average. A nice place for getting together for a tète à tête.
