Step inside Il Fornaio and take a culinary journey through Italy. Early mornings bring rustic, crisp crusted bread hot from the oven accompanied by the scent of fresh brewed espresso. During lunch and dinner hours, pastas and flavorful sauces simmer while meats and vegetables roast over hot coals. Bottles of wine from small, regional wineries are uncorked to complement the dishes, which have been crafted in the custom of Italy's chefs, bakers and homemakers. Il Fornaio means "the Baker" in Italian. This award-winning restaurant offers an authentic and unique Italian dining experience. Specialties include wood-fired rotisserie and grilled meats, poultry and game; housemade pastas; pizzas from an oak wood burning oven; fresh salads and housemade soups; a wide variety of desserts; and fresh baked bread made daily from scratch. Winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2007.

Elegant dining - delicious pizza

High-end pizza in an ambient setting. Always a delight to dine here. Great for groups with an extensive menu. Pizza is one of the best in town. A variety of Italian dishes. Perfect for a romantic evening for two or a large group for lunch.

This restaurant is actually in El Segundo and close to the 405. It is a really good spot for lunch if you want to meet between Santa Monica and Long Beach The staff are very efficient and helpful. The restaurant is large and has a very nice feel to it. We both enjoyed our fish meals. Very fresh, well presented... More

My colleagues at at this restaurant on a recent business trip. The wine list had some very nice Italian wines that would work well with the food. I had the Cannelloni al Forno which was very tasty and very filling. My colleagues had the seafood stew and the seafood grill combo. Everyone was happy with their meals. We shared a... More

We were looking for an Italian restaurant so saw it in hotel magazine.... The place is gorgeous, decorated beautifully.. A little overpriced. We had the calamari and a pizza for appetizers. Pizza was ok, calamari not crispy but not rubbery either. The dinners were ok.... Pasta with chicken and broccoli a little bland, risotto was salty and ravioli was ok.. The... More

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I know it's a chain, but it doesn't really feel like one. Great for a business dinner or date night.
