Dinner

This is a very small uninviting restaurant BUT the food is great!! We ate there two nights in a row. I had the mahi mahi was my choice both nights. I loved it. Make sure you ask to have jalapeno peppers added.

The service was great, fast and efficient. The food just left a lot to be desired. The chips were okay, not restaurant tortilla chips though. The salsa wasn't bad and they give you lots. The guacamole was cut with something and had little to no flavor. The beans and cheese were dry and not flavorful. The fried fish taco was... More

This place doesn't try anything creative with the menu, but covers all of the basics very well. Portions are large and chips are always fresh. Fish tacos are great as is the solchi soup.

It's a little hole in the wall, but the place is always packed. The food is terrific, but very spicy and hot. Service is quick. There's only about 10 tables in the place, and they're usually full in the evenings. I visit most times I travel out to Manhattan Beach CA on business. Food is reasonably priced, and they serve... This place looks like a tiny hole in the wall, and even has a take-out window in the front but don't be fooled by the tiny interior. The bowling alley kitchen these folks work out of cranks out some of the best Mexican you've ever had. It's fast, inexpensive, and worth the wait in the usually long line outside the... More

Terrific folks here, and they really care, from the cooks to the servers. Some of the best salsa in town, and really good food. Good value for the money. Big portions. Killer burritos, too! Wish they had a full liquor license. Try to go in off hours if you don't want the hassle of sitting next to families of over-indulged,... More

Excellent tortilla soup with unique ingredients. Carnitas and chicken are best quality. Burritos are enormous.

This wonderful "walk to" neighborhood place is our favorite casual Mexican spot. Great food and super service make for a great "combo"!

The lunch specials are a good value. I especially like the chicken tacos and the chile rellanos. The refried beans are not made with lard! Healthier.

This is small, local Mexican restaurant with hints of New Mexico and Chihuahua cooking. The staff is very perky and efficient. Most everything on the menu is good and slightly spicy. Chips and salsa are very good and the beer nice and cold. Go early as you make reservations at the door and this is a popular local place. Note... More
