Quick and tasty

I ate dinner in a hurry and was pleased with how fast my meal was served. I had a fish sandwich fried in a crispy batter, smoked salmon chowder as a substitution for fries/slaw and rinsed it down with a margarita. It was all good, moderately priced and the fresh sourdough bread was delish. I went... read more

this local MB restaurant deserves attention if you have modest expectations and are in the mood for a noisy dinner...the food tends to be on the greasy side but the blackened salmon was good. Get there by 5 and no wait, if you're looking for fine dining this is not the place for you.

We have been to Fishbar many times. Each time the quality and price have been outstanding. Especially like the lobster tacos at happy hour, or the sand dabs and brussel sprouts at dinner.

Although the food was good, the service. Was excruciatingly slow. One table arrived after we were seated and finished lunch before we were served. Plan to spend a couple of hours for lunch. More than we expected to spend.

Nice sports bar/restaurant. We had an appetizer of lobster and avocado dip. It was outstanding and then the main course was grilled shrimp and scallops wonderful. We highly recommend this little place. Quite a bit of food for the price. Loved it.

Service was spot on in this little Manhattan Beach favorite. Jake took us through the multiple menus to get us both exactly what we wanted and I was surprised at how great the food is. Definitely a new favorite in the LAX area.

Came here for lunch for the second time this year. The atmosphere is warm, place is crowded, clearly a lot of locals come. Service can be slow but we warned the waiter that we have to catch a plane and he was supernice in getting our food on time. It was lobster thursday, lobster guacamole and roasted maine lobster was... More

Went on a weeknight. Very busy. Little on loud side, but still easy to have a conversation. Lots of TVs. Very casual. Food was just ok. Raw oysters were fresh. Lobster guacamole was good, but missing some flavor. Lobster enchiladas were pretty good. Blackened salmon tacos were disappointing - salmon was so so, taco filler was nothing special, and flour... Where can you find a lunch of soup and seafood for only $9.99? And friendly efficient service? And great drinks? And a pleasant ambience? Near the beach? Only at Fishbar! One downside is the lack of parking but there is a garage right across the street. Great food, great service, great price.

Nice little neighborhood bar/grill. Never had a bad meal or experience yet. Their beer is cold, drinks poured well, the fish is fresh and the prices, reasonable. My favorite night is Taco Tuesday. Blackened Salmon tacos for $5, washed down with an ice cold pint of Stella. Again, a great place to have in the neighborhood.
