Sports bar done right

Not a big sports bar girl, but I really liked this one. My salad was delicious with shrimp and avocado and the apple donut was heaven.

I enjoyed the casual atmosphere, menu is not huge but high quality and more interesting than a lot of casual pubs. "The Sammy" was delicious as were the shoestring fries w/ blue cheese. The bartenders were knowledgable and friendly.

There are many choices in Manhattan Beach, and Simmzy's does not disappoint. It's right on the main road, with several craft beers on tap, a happy attentive staff, and great food. I had the ceviche, kale salad, and cauliflower. All were excellent.

Before I lived in LA, this place was my first stop every time I visited - the pulled pork sandwich is that good! I find the TVs and music a little overwhelming, but the food is tasty and the craft beer menu always has something new and interesting to try.

Popular spot with mid to low price food. Had a burger, it was reasonably priced and not bad, not amazing. Much less bland than a lot of the local places. Would go again probably but there's a lack of quality tasty and somewhat healthy food in area even though there are plenty of cafes and restaurants.

We were walking around looking for a place for lunch and stopped in. The cauliflower with a cilantro pesto had me going back the next week and I can not stop thinking about it.

This was a pleasant surprise on a Sunday looking to watch an NFL game. The menu was not your typical bar food but actually real restaurant food. No usual buds and coors beers, but huge variety of craft ales to suit your tastes. The salad I had was a very generous portion and delicious. I am usually a bud light... More

Tough to get a memorable hamburger but this place meets the challenge. Pare that with a great choice of fine craft beers on tap and you have a satisfying lunch. Service very good as well and fast.

Good service, tasty food. Several beers on tap. Open air seating one block from ocean. Street parking can be hard to find. Dining area is not large, so some tables are close. Liked the cauliflower appetizer very much. The shrimp and rock fish ceviche was tasty as well. Known for their burgers, so we ordered one - it was cooked... More

Ate here with a couple people on the advice of a local- what great advice! I got the simmzy burger and it was so yummy. Also I have to give a shout out to the avocado dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries could not stop eating it! Definitely check this place out if you're looking for good food and... More
