After a very tiring, but exciting surf session in Malibu (it was the biggest swell in years), we headed to Coogies for healthy salads. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by the hostess and by our waitress, who then made our lunch experience a very pleasant one. The chicken and the albacore salads were delicious, freshly prepared... More

First, the burgers are either Niman Ranch beef or bison - yum! The patty melt with swiss & onions on rye bread was really good. The Coogie burger also good. Sweet potato fries so yummy! The white sangria was ok - got a pitcher, but value-wise, it might have been better to order by the glass (very small pitcher). Nice... More

Wilfredo meets you amicably at the door...After being seated in the surrounding ambiance you have to decide on what item to chose off of their delicious menu. Decisions decisions , but never fear it's all good looking fun. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the gluten-free chocolate cake with fruit and chocolate sauce. Even if you have no need to... More

We were driving up PCH after dropping someone off at LAX and were hungry for breakfast. At first we tried Duke's but they are not open for breakfast and then I remembered this place near Pepperdine and dropped in. It was a terrific breakfast. I had the the salmon and eggs along with the zucchini bread. Delicious! I'll definately be... More

Coogies Beach Cafe in Malibu is always fresh and exciting. The food is always fresh, reasonably priced California cuisine and the atmosphere is pure California beach. Service is always good and they have killer breakfasts, too!

I recently went for a dinner at this restaurant and was really impressed. It has a casual relaxed - yet refined ambiance. The staff are attentive and truly friendly (not a common thing for services in Malibu!). They were genuinely interesting to chat with. The menu has an excellent variety of very healthy offerings. This is a great little stop... More

We had a family breakfast here when passing through. Very nice food and good service. In lovely plaza for a walk around. No real views to speak off. Coffee was good.

I had the Coogie's Special for breakfast and it was very good. Quick service and tasty food. It's Malibu so, of course, dining alone (business trip) was weird but the staff were great. The hostess was very nice and the waiters were nicely attentive. Was able to eat and watch some World Cup. The Coogie's Special was very interesting and... More

This is an unpretentious place, situated in a small strip mall off PCH. There is an outdoor patio and an indoor area. Their specialities include a good variety of vegan dishes and organic fare in addition to conventional choices. We had the Albacore Tuna sandwich (cooked perfectly) and the Salmon plate (moist and flavorful). Don't miss the Avocado Egg Rolls,... More

My daughter and I were in Malibu and were hungry for lunch. We happened upon Coogies. What a treat! The food is delicious, the portions are large, the service is great and there is lots of free parking. The prices are reasonable. We sat outside on the patio with a view of the parking lot and the distant hills ...... More
