Kristy's is one of the better restaurants in Malibu. They have a quaint bar with great martinis and a decent wine list but the food is much better than the wine list so I usually bring my own. Yes there is a corkage fee, but brining a good bottle is worth the experience. I think over the years... read more

We stayed in the hotel next door to Kirsy's so we thought eating there would be nice. Reserved our table earlier in the day but still waited over 30 minutes to be seated. It was a nice evening so we didn't mind waiting outside, shame there wasn't anywhere to sit whilst being kept waiting. We had to stand by the... More

The staff makes you feel right at home the minute you arrive. Their food is presented with an appeal to the eyes and stomach. It is deliciously prepared and served with your satisfaction being their top priority. Prices are comparable to other restuarants in the area, but your appreciation and enjoyment of the meal makes it priceless. Perfect for a... More

Attended a luncheon after a Pepperdine grad ceremony at this location and felt sorry for those who had planned it as the owner/manager (not quite sure as he never introduced himself) was blustering around acting angry that we were there & how they weren't ready for us yet & had to set up more tables, etc. He said we could... We happen to stumble across this place. We were quite underdressed for the formality of the dining area. The maitre d insisted that our atire was fine. After reviewing the menu and hearing the chef specials of the day, we decided to split the surf and turf. The turf was a boneless ribeye approximately 10 ounces, and the turf was... More

A girlfriend and I (and our two pups) just finished a hike nearby at the Escondido Canyon and Falls. After the hike, we searched for a nearby winery or a pet-friendly restaurant with a nice patio. Kristy's seemed nearby, and we called to reserve a table on a patio to accommodate our furry companions. When we arrived, the hostess immediately... More

I was visiting a friend who doesn't eat breakfast, We were headed to Montecito for Christmas lunch at the Vedanta Society. He dropped me at Kristy's because they were literally the only restaurant we knew to be open on Christmas morning. They offered a buffet which did not appeal to be but I picked up a piece of French toast,... More

We are locals and just love this place. Greg and Kristy are hands-on owners and make sure everyone leaves happy. Food is creative and delicious. Yes you can get burgers and gourmet pizzas, but we usually go for the nightly special or salmon. Great ambiance and we love the ocean-view deck. Our favorite place to eat in Malibu.

Fabulous restaurant, friendliest service and beautiful location. The food was great too!! Our patio table had a lovely view of the coast line and the wonderful gardens surrounding the restaurant.

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
