Get your dog at Malibu Mutts

Another one of the country mart's staples, this is one of the only places in Malibu to get a hot dog..and they're great! It's a cool place to eat fast on the go...but you probably will want to hang around for all the people watching, unless you're a local.

My mom lived in Malibu when she was younger and always took me to this place as I was growing up. I have never tasted a better falafel than the one at Malibu Mutts! I always try and make it through Malibu when I am traveling to Los Angeles because of this place.

The best Turkey burgers and falafals in a relaxed, low key walk up and order style restaurant. The lines can get long on a weekend, but it's well worth the wait. Also try the teriyaki chicken salad.

For those of us tourists just visiting, this might be as close as you come to dining with the rich and priviledged residents of Malibu! We took a wander around the Malibu Country Mart first, which was a lovely relaxed shopping outlet. It has a lovely central eating area with a playground for the children (and their nannies!) and is... More

Stopped off here for a hot dog and soda. It's right in the middle of the children's playground and there are many picnic tables to enjoy your meal at. We shared a Mutt hotdog and it was a pretty good dog with a sesame bun. Service was quick.

It may not be for everybody, but we love to hang out at the Malibu Country Mart. This combined with the great food from Mutts makes for a very enjoyable afternoon. If you have never had Falafel, try it at Malibu Mutts. I had never had it before but saw other good reviews so ordered some and it was really very... More

Avoid this tourist trap like ptomaine! Surly service with a sneer. Greasy burgers, dogs and fries at this shack of a stand, although in a beautiful park-like setting. So enjoy the park and get better food at any of the other restaurants in the area.

Service with a sneer and attitude - all bad attitude. This hot dog dump is to be avoided like ptomaine.

We ordered sandwiches and salads to go and were really pleased with the quantity and quality. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was fresh. Just straightforward good value!
