Entrees are Yummy

Dad ordered the fish tacos, I ordered the fish entree with mushrooms and Asian slaw. Our waiter, Michael was amazing! He was so sweet to my Grandmother, who is difficult in restaurants with all her special orders. He was gracious, kind, & accommodating. The food was delicious. Dad didn't want a big... read more

$12.50 for 4 coconut shrimp with no coconut?!? $29 for an organic piece of chicken I can hold in my hand with a side of shriveled beans and risotto that tasted like lime and paste? The menu here is very limited and the food is mediocre at best. I read some reviews before we left and I felt like it... More

At first I started to panic when I walked in thinking this would be miles out of my price range. But it was not much more expensive than the dump we'd ate in the day before. They sat us right in front of the ocean, the food was without a fault. The complimentary warm bread kept coming. I wish I... More

I went around happy hour with my best friend and sat outside, the view was amazing and the happy hour menu was surprisingly cheap. we ordered Mai Tais for like 3 bucks and got chicken nachos the portion was pretty big perfect to share with a group and I wanna say they were less than 10 bucks.

Terrific buffet dining from special order omelets to marinated muscles. Plus there are also scrumptous desserts. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Fantastic views and, if you are lucky, the original Gidget will be at the hostess station!

Nice combination of laid-back beach atmosphere with great ocean views and delicious food. Fabulous fresh fish options, and you won't feel out of place in shorts or dressed for the office. Pricey, and only valet parking, but the food is worth it.

We had a great time at Dukes Malibu. The food was great. The view of the ocean was inspiring. The décor was a lot of fun. I'd definitely return.

We reserved one weekday evening an I must say we were not disappointed . We first went to the bar and had a drink with friendly bartenders. Then we met the original Gidget and got a picture with her, she is very nice. We were seated at a table with a wonderful view of the ocean , it was perfect... More

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
