Great to stop off for refreshments.

Stopped for a drink after a drive. There is a good selection of beers on tap and the barman is very knowledgeable about them all. The beer was very tasty and well served. A couple of guys in my group ordered some snacks, Wings and Crab dim-sum. The Wings were to die for! A good kick to the sauce... read more

Went to dinner with 2 other couples to celebrate being in town and had such a wonderful time. Our server was attentive and friendly, the views were spectacular and food surpassed expectations. We had the calamari and pork rolls for apps, banana leaf rock fish and snapper for dinner and many good cocktails. Will return next time we are in... More

Disappointing. While the variety of beer is fine, I have never seen a more poorly stocked bar. Who ever heard of a full bar with only 2 liqueurs (Frangelico and Bailey's); NO chocolate or vanilla flavored alcohol at all...2 Caribbean rums total. Food menu is limited as well, if you dont eat seafood. About the only thing I liked was... More

Great meal, wonderful service, desert to die for! The view from here is amazing. We were so impressed with the meals, including the kids menu which had vegetables!! Prices were great too. A must do if you're in Malibu.

I love Duke's. I really do. And I'll keep going until I can think of a reason not to. The view is fantastic. I have never had bad service. The drinks are on point. But the last couple of times I've left thinking that maybe I just love It here because I love being in Malibu with my friends staring... More

We stopped here after flying into LAX. It was our first stop before the start of our PCH vacation. Food was great, prices great, the waitress was so friendly. We acted like tourists when a few of us spotted whales in the water, leisurely swimming! A lunch we will always remember!

I decided to stop in after passing by this place many times in my travels through Malibu. It was a great decision. This Barefoot bar is a casual extension of the main facility. It has outside seating overlooking the rocks and water...With a clear glass/plexi barrier, you can enjoy the view and not be hit with the wind and or... More

There is a really long waiting time to get a table. The food choice is poor, and quality of the food is no good. Oily and cheap. Waiters are too busy to be able to hear all of the order, so really not recommended. The view is wonderful, however, I am not sure if it is worth seeing it from... More

We enjoyed our lunch very much the bread tasted homemade and the salted butter really was delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the fish tacos both were very good. The service was prompt and courteous and the prices were not bad at all considering the view. The valet parking was fairly priced and really handy in Malibu.

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
