Great food and cocktails, fantastic atmosphere, unbelievable views and the sound of the ocean... Simply perfect! We went straight to the Duke's Barefoot Bar on the left hand side, where you just wait for your table while enjoying the drink at the bar. The bar menu is just as good!

Food was good, average at best. The view is amazing of the ocean! While we were waiting on our food, 2 whales passed by! Neither me or my son had ever seen whaes, it was amazing. I got a salad with grilled chicken, it was ok. My son got a hamburger and fries which he seemed to gobble down pretty... More

Charming Hawaiian surfing theme just like its counterpart restaurants on Oahu and Maui. Like dining at a friend's large beach cottage. Directly on the water slightly above the beach offering superior views and reliable menu choices. There's something for everyone here. Easy valet parking offered. Great place for dinner for couples or families. Dinner for six including drinks was around... More

Was excited to see a Duke's on my recent trip to Malibu, as I love Hawaiiana and have enjoyed the Duke's in Kauai. Stopped by on my own around happy hour and had a Hawaiian Mule (delicious mix of handmade vodka, ginger beer and pineapple) and a caesar salad. The staff was cheerful and accommodating, and my salad was top-notch.... More

Was so excited to see Duke's Resturant as I was passing through Malibu. Became a fan of Hula pie at Duke's while visiting the Hawaiian Islands so had to get a slice to hold me over. Had a wonderful table right next to the ocean with a view of the surfers on the Malibu coast. Our waitress Natalie supplied one... More

This is a typical Dukes and probably needs a refreshing, but the food was just okay. Good portions, but the dishes were a bit overdone. Nice waitress, though.

We had the kids in the car after a great day at the beach. We had a craving for fish n chips & saw Dukes. We did a quick check on yelp (which I've come to realise is useless if you want accurate up to date helpful reviews & info) I went in and ordered 3 fish & chips off... More

Neighborhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
