We were craving pizza and got what we wanted! The service was excellent and I especially enjoyed my first pumpkin pizza. Sauteed spinach was delicious too. Nice ambiance and the feel of a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.

Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Malibu, adjacent to good shopping, across from the beach, walking distance to the pier, in a quad with a playground for kids, including a sandbox. Good selection of libations and good variety of well prepared Italian dishes. Lovely patio dining from which people watching, including star gazing is easy.

Have been to Tra di Noi half a dozen times over the years and you can't beat the ambiance. Everyone feels like a celeb at this posh eatery (and we've certainly seen our share of lunching luminaries). The food is still excellent as is the service. However, portions are small and prices are large. What balances it all out, and... More

The noise is overwhelming at night. The tables close together. The service rushed and perfunctory. The food presentation desultory. Doesn't matter if you sit outside or in,it is all no good. You have a reservation? So what. You wait anyway. 30 years ago it used to be fabulous. New owners. Disappointing in every way. And the name is Tra di... More

I've had some of my very best Italian meals at this restaurant. Whether I'm sitting in the main restaurant for dinner, or getting take out from the window outside, the food is always very good. And the restaurant features an elegant indoor dining experience or a lovely patio that looks out over the inner courtyard of Cross Creek, and the... More

My wife is Italian, and so a tough critic of Italian restaurants in America. She gave Tra di Noi an "A". Even though the chef is from Guatamala.

In Malibu just for the day or just for a meal? If so, make this the place to eat if you are craving Italian. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Both are great. They also have a "To Go" window with the best salads and sandwiches. (Bisteca is my favorite- served with a great side salad.) For a sit... More

Skip the restaurant, go the take out window, order a pizza (they are all good) and enjoy it at the picnic table in Malibu Country Market.

Very excellent service in an upscale restaurant . The food did not match the service. It was a very average meal and even fell flat with the appetizers. Skipped desert to avoid another disappointment . I guess some people would be happy with the food as it was presented nicely and moderately priced.
