While we have to admit that most of our meals there have been quite good, we've also had several that were anything but. The kitchen is really inconsistent, so you take your chances on every visit.

This restaurant took me back to my days I lived on Tokyo! Never had fried icecream in the states like they had. The chefs are actually real Japanese sushi chefs something I see is disappearing in Los Angeles ! Nice patio, shared quite cozily with cantina next-door. And talk about reasonable wow, will be be seeing us again!

Nicely located around the corner from Point Dume, Westward Beach. The sushi is professionally presented & served and not too expensive. No beach views, but a nice funky vibe in here, a very relaxed scene. A welcome break from all the high-priced, showy eateries in town.

Great place to grab some excellent sushi! My favorite in Malibu and is right near the beaches. Very friendly and professional staff and a nice restaurant to dine inside.

I am a big sushi lover and this place was very disappointing. Sushi ingredients didn't match the description on their menu. Also, it was overpriced. Four small pieces is what they conspired a roll. I wouldn't go back or recommend it to a friend or a stranger really

This is the one place I really try to get to when I'm back in Malibu. The yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños is inevitably the best bite of food I'll eat that day. The Las Vegas roll is fantastic -- and I'm not typically a fan of cooked stuff. I also love the fact that it shares a patio with the... More

You might not even notice it if you drove past, but this place is great. The celebs love it too, as you always bump into one on your way in or out. Good value for money, good food, always a warm welcome at the door, lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Staying in Malibu

Neighborhood Profile
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
