Soup and a sandwich, loved it

Dropped in for lunch when exploring the "1" in summer time. Timed it just after the rush and only had a short wait for a table. The menu provided a variety that suited our varied tastes and as the photo suggests the soup and sandwich was the choice for me. Would recommend and if ever in the... read more

While there are millions of eateries within the LA basin and environs this place always seems to deliver good predictable (a very important aspect) food at average pricing in a hospitable unobtrusive environment. Here is why they deserve my attention - going on ten years now. The cooks have been here for years. They understand and know the recipes -... More

The omelette by itself deserves 5 stars. All ingredients were fresh, latte was fresh, and the waitstaff was very welcoming.

Each year, when we visit LA, we always make sure we stop for lunch at Marmalade Cafe in Malibu. It is located in a very trendy shopping mart on PCH in Malibu. Lovely and comfortable wooden tables inside and a lovely comforting menu to match. Generous portions, great service and just great food. A very happy atmosphere and always busy.... More

The tropical tea was wonderful! My husband has the jalapeño burger and I had the bacon lettuce tomato avocado. Both were delicious. Large portions I had a side salad and the house dressing was delicious. The salad was very fresh.

The restaurant is convenient, welcoming and the food is fine. It can be crowded on holidays and weekends. It's a very noisy place so I enjoy it most when I go with a friend and it's possible to talk. With more than one person it is hard to hear. I like breakfast or lunch, especially the chicken tortilla soup with... More

I had the turkey sausage scramble which is always great and comes with guac, tomatoes, black beans and corn tortillas. My only question is why they don't have better coffee. The coffee they serve is so poor it throws off the rest of the experience.

Our family was cruising after attending a "cars $ coffee" sports car meetup. This was the first restaurant we saw. No previous expectations or knowledge of the place. I had an pineapple upside down pancake. Terrific, large (but I finished it all). My wife had a stack of pancakes. Son had "the Marmalade Breakfast". Also good. Same for the hash... More

I love to have breakfast brunch or lunch at this place. My favorite dish are the scrambled eggs with salmon! Also love the steak and eggs. Large menu with enough choice for everyone, i'm sure that you will find a dish that you will enjoy!

We came here for breaky and ordered the blueberry pancakes and the egg white vegetable frittata. Both were delicious and very generous in size. Great service, can't wait to come back and try the other great items on the menu.
