I read it may re-open in the future. Another landlord-tenant contract dispute or something. Was in decline all around. The 2012 shooting of one of their dishwashers at Guido's didn't help.

We came to this restaurant at 5:30PM on a Thursday-- 1/2 hour after they opened for dinner. There was one occupied table and besides that the place was empty. We were seated at a booth, and ordered a bottle of wine. When the waiter came by, we asked him to take a picture of us. He says "Do you mind... More

Pasta with shrimp and lobster was the special....very good! Decor is old school- something you'd find in the early 70's but doesn't matter. Food is simple, easy and very good. Service is always great. The Guido's salad is a must have!

Of the 18 years I lived in Malibu, this restaurant has been consistantly good. Their chopped salads are wonderful. Ask for the "Linda" , not on the menu but named after a local patron. The Oso Bucco is the best I have ever had, time after time. They pour a good size Martini. I have seen the TOP STARS in... More

Guido's is a local favorite and the food is always high class! We feel at home here, and have never been dissapointed - Ask Vasil for reservations....he never forgets a name once he's met you!

I ate lunch at "Guido's Malibu" for the first time on 6/20/2012. It has a nice location, located not far off the Pacific Coast Highway. From our table we could see both the lagoon and the ocean. While I had the "Spaghetti alla Bolognese" most of the people in my party tried their signature "Zuppa di Vongole al Basilico". While... More

Hard to find behind the strip mall shops but worth it. Herb bread to die for. Butter lettuce with almonds and goat cheese salad was yummy. Veal Limone was one of the most tender yeal dishes ever.
